  • Does a torque converter have anything to do with my rear brakes not working?

Dodge Dakota 2001. Rear brakes only work when in Neutral. Had front and rear brakes replaced, new master cylendar and valve installed. (everything was well bled and pouring out of the the back) Still no brakes. Next step they tell me is a torque converter. Does this have anything to do with the rear brakes or just another waste of time and money?

  • 2001 Dodge Dakota. 2x4. No rear brakes. Please help.?

Dodge Dakota has been in pepboys for a week. Failed inspection 3 times for NO rear brakes. They changed the master cylendar, valve and brakes in front and back. They can't figure out why the brakes don't work in the back. And after calling Dodge, they don't know either. What could this be? Is it time for a new truck or is this fixable?
