3 AnswersHouston1 decade agoHelp with lyrics!! "cause I love the way you make me feel"?
Its a slower song, kinda sounds like Norah Jones. The chorus is the only part I can remember and have searched MANY lyric sites to no avail. The chorus is "cause I-I-I-I lo-o-o-ove the way you make me feel"....Definitely female, just can't find it.

5 AnswersOther - Careers & Employment1 decade agoNeed help with a resume. I have been a truck driver for the last 9 years......continued?
I have prior experience in beer sales where I was also a district manager, insurance sales (which I NEVER want to do again), restaurant manager (only about 7 months though, but a national chain), data entry and special billing for a major international shipping company. The last several years have been in truck driving as I said before but I want to get back to a local job. How do I use that previous experience in non truck driving fields to get back to that line of work? I don't want my resume to be 5 pages long, I've had a lot of different truck driving jobs both local and over the road, and I don't want that to look bad as a job jumper. I really want to get with a company and stick for a looooooong time. Can you list a resume out of order, non chronologically? I am not your stereotypical truck driver, I just did that to provide for my family and cost of living. The time away is not worth the sacrifice of being away from my family. Thanks ahead of time for your help......

1 AnswerHouston1 decade agoI have driven a truck for the last several years, what career move should I make?
I am 42, I have Management experience in Restaurant and Retail fields. I have sales experience in the beverage and insurance fields. (hated the cold calling). I also have limited experience with quickbooks doing payroll and a little bit of data entry. I sell sports clothing and items on ebay for just a little extra cash, nothing major. I have a large family and not much (nothing really) put away in the way of savings, so whatever move I make it needs to pay off right away. I search monster, yahoo jobs, and career builder every chance I get, I am employed I just want a stable job with regular hours and pay. I need at least 45K a year, more would be nice obviously. I am in the North Houston area and do not want to relocate. Just looking for serious suggestions, thanks!

I am looking to participate and compete in some local icehouse, or small town chamber cookoffs in Houston and the surrounding area. I don't have a large trailer type pit, just regular backyard type pits, any help and info would be appreciated.

2 AnswersLaptops & Notebooks1 decade agoI am looking to change careers at age 42, any ideas?
I have experience in sales, management, retail, restaurant, truck driving, radio, some accounting. I have very little college under my belt, no degree. I currently do oilfield hotshot with my own truck and trailer, I have been doing this for a little over a year. Prior to that I drove an 18 wheeler over the road with a friend of mine. I have a family and would like to get away from driving as it keeps me away from home for too long. Would really like a M-F job so that I can be home evenings and weekends. I do need to make at least $50K yr. Please, serious answers only. I've poured over job sites for the last couple of years to no avail. Thanks for your help in advance. I live just North of Houston, Spring/Woodlands area.
