I was the middle car in rear end accident. I was pushed into the car in front of me. Both of the other parties coincidentally have Farmers. To complicate things, the girl that hit me was driving her friend's Benz. My claims adj suggested I call Farmers to give my account of what happened to expedite things so I did and got nowhere. I've read this on other posts and the same thing is now happening to me where their ins co said they cannot do anything until they make contact with the driver so they can get HER side of the story. I called my adj back and they said nothing new has happened except letters have been mailed out attempting to contact the other drivers. The car in front of me has a claim# but has yet to give her side of the story as well.

I have liability only and uninsured motorist (my car is a POS). My bf is an auto body tech and by his estimation, my car is totaled (think accordion). I do not have any money to start outright paying for expenses. A police report was made at the time of the accident however the officer never asked about injuries. I was clearly limping around so I don't know if that was in his report but I reported my sacral pain and whiplash to my insurance in addition to seeing my doctor that next day. I will also probably ask for PT referral, I NEED a good back for the rest of my nursing career. My car is drivable but I am hesitant to do so, however I have no choice since I am a FT nursing student who MUST be present for theory and clinicals. So you can imagine my wanting to get things rolling and why I am frustrated that this girl hasn't even contacted Farmers. (On a side note, if I lent my friend my Mercedes, you better believe I would be on her a** to take responsibility if it meant MY premium was going to be affected.)

So my questions are:

1) If they never get in contact with the DRIVER, would the name of the insured still be responsible for paying me and the #1 car out for damages?

2) Will the driver be accountable in any way eventually?

3) If Farmers never gets a hold of either the driver or the name of the insured and denies me payment for damages, who do I file suit against between the driver and name of insured?

FYI - The reason I am suspicious of her trying to ignore her responsibilities is because of something significant she said at the time of the accident. When she came out of the car, the first thing she said was, "I'm f*cked, I was just in an accident six months ago and it was my fault then."

If anybody knows any insider information on this, would be much appreciated. Looks like so far, you can only buy tickets to individual events or you have to buy tickets to EVERYTHING. I only want to go the the actual game on the 13th. I am trying to avoid places like StubHub b/c those prices are insane! Any help? Thx.

I'm 24 years old, 5'8" and currently 166 lbs. I have lost 10 lbs in the last 6 weeks steadily (about 1-2 lbs a week). I have been creating a calorie deficit by eating less (around under 1000 cal/day) and exercising a LOT more (1 hour combo of power-walking and running at least 4-5 times a week) . I cut out sugars, sodium, eating late at night and have been eating more veggies, whole wheat and protein. I'm also taking Alli as a weight loss supplement. My goal weight is around 120-125 lbs.

Is there anything else I can do to speed this up?

I know I probably sound overzealous but even at a 2 lb loss a week, that's around 5 months from now =(

Perhaps there's another form of cardio I could be doing that is more efficient at burning calories?

Any helpful suggestions would be much appreciated.

My previous doctor RX'd me naproxen and then I switched doctors and this new one RX'd me naprolen just now. I webmd'd this and it said that naprolen IS naproxen. He knows I'm on naproxen, so why'd he RX me what seems like the same thing?

When applied, does it soak into the skin? Is that why it lasts a month? Does giving my dog a bath make it last less than a month or does it make it less effective? If so, how long should I wait to give him a bath after I apply the medication? Thanks everybody!

I have a 15 wk old mini doxie. He does well in a crate; especially when we put him in there for the night! A couple of weeks ago he was doing extremely well and I was pleased with his progress and I thought all would be well. But here I am now, during the daytime, it's like a 70 to 30 chance he'll go on the carpet!!! I don't get it. He goes on the pad maybe sometimes and the other times (which is most of the time) he won't! I can't figure out what happened. Should I be crating him during the day for a couple of hours? I can't get him to associate the PAD with peeing. Also, he will pee on the EDGE of the pad with the front half of his body on the pad and the back half off! ???? What's with? I think he thinks that if he's in the general area, it's ok. What should I do or is there some explanation for this sudden behavior change? (And no, I don't punish him or give him treats when it's not warranted)

My boyfriend's family are good, christian people for the most part. His mom and grandparents aren't so bad when it comes to things like asking us to go to church with them and things like that. But I have an inkling that his father, who is a really sweet man, STILL after 2 1/2 years hasn't quite caught on that I'm an atheist. I'm constantly bombarded at their house with uncomfortable situations, mostly brought on because he's ranting about something on the O'Reilley Factor. I don't believe in god, I'm pro-choice and I don't have a problem with homosexuality. And he's SO the opposite. I feel like it's one of those situations where it would have been better if I had come out and said something when we first got together because now it's too late and I think he thinks I have the same views. I plan on marrying my man and he might be my future father-in-law. I don't want any bad blood because he's passionate about his faith and I'm not quite so. How do I go about talking to him?

I'm talking about those People Finder websites that tell you extremely personal information like your current address, phone number, address history, etc. All some psycho stalker has to do it pay the fee and they get all the access they need, right? What's up with this service? Someone put my nerves at ease cuz I'm always paranoid about these kinds of things.

are they really aggressive as their bad rep makes them out to be? Or is it TRULY because the dogs in those mauling cases were mistreated by their handlers? My boyfriend wants to get a male pitbull terrier but I told him he'd have to get the puppy snipped cuz I'm afraid it'll be too aggressive if we let him be. What's the real truth? I've looked everywhere on the internet but I keep getting things for fish. I need an aquarium that is more wide than it is deep or tall. I've heard from the people at PetCo that going to a reptile expo is a good idea but I don't know where one is going to be happening. I'm working just now and I looked down and saw this beautiful bright blue color slithering around on the carpet as I'm on the phone with a patient. My first thought was that it was a nasty millipede because of how long it was but then I looked again and found that it was a lizard! It's so cute! And I adore reptiles only there wasn't much on the net about this species becides the name and what it looks like. Any here know how big this thing will get?

i'm 5'8" and 144 lbs. i want get back to my pre-boyfriend weight of around 120-125 lbs. i just want to know if there's a safe and decent diet pill that will curb my appetite while i learn to control it. i'm literally hungry at all times of the day and i admit that i eat when i'm bored at home over the weekends (my apartment's gym isn't open on the weekends). but now i've been eating a lot better and working out often. i took xenadrine with ephedra once in high school but just to stay awake for finals and i think i almost had a heart attack. i have an irregular heart beat and i don't want anything that makes your heart race. any suggestions?

I have a credit card debt of $5,000 and a bank loan for $3,000. I'm still behind on the minimum and it feels like I'm not even making a dent in the interest. The bank has been harrassing me and calling me even more lately and they've been getting extremely pushy. I've been working part time while I finished up a summer anatomy class and I start my fulltime status next week so I can get paid more, obviously. My question is should I go to a credit counseling place? Or should I try to handle this myself? And I haven't even touched basis with the credit card company. I was young and made stupid mistakes and now that I've finally got my life turned around, I have to deal with those consequences. My credit is already ruined and I have no idea what to do. Any suggestions?
