My daughter will be leaving for college in a month. She and her roommate will have a very large dorm room (approx. 1000 sq.ft) Each will have separate bedrooms and will share a bath and common living area. Rooms come with beds, desks, couch and entertainment center. What kind of essentials should we buy besides bedding and laundry baskets?

My daughter is a senior and her volleyball coach has made a statement that what happens with the volleyball team STAYS only with the volleyball team. In this particular case, one of the girls broke a school rule, but because it was a big game that week, the rule was overlooked and the girl played. The girl's parents were NOT notified about the broken rule (which was a major school rule, the punishment was suspension) and my daughter told us about it. When coach found out our daughter told us, MY daughter was punished for a team infraction. Would YOU confront the coach or NOT?

I live in a city in which I am the minority even though my race is considered the majority. My professor was very negative toward white people in general and blamed us for the way of the country. I kept myself quiet, but inside I fumed because most of her statements were untrue.
