every month or so my ex texts me saying that he has been thinking about me and misses me... But he has a girlfriend. We used to hook up and hang out but i stopped because it wasnt helping me get over him.

He calls or texts me like like every month asking me how I'm doing. But this time around he texted me saying I got mail at his house and asked what I want him to do with it I said just throw it away so he says okay with a winky face. So half an hour later he texts me back saying how are you I have been thinking about you lately and I miss you Because our relationship wasn't bad at all. Then says we should hang out soon..(before then the breakup was fresh I would jump to go to his house hang out and etc ) but this time I said sure we can meet at the bar since I'm heading out for my friends birthday. He said sure but then never got back to me so my question is why contact me with the I miss you and have been thinking about you but he still has a girlfriend??
