My horse has a major chewing issue. Why? because she was abused by the bit. Shes much better with it (accepts it) but she wont stop chewing. Even little 2 year olds that have never had a bit in there mouth chew as much as she does when they first have it in. Soo, I was thinking I could have some help with another noseband to teach her not to chew as much. But im not sure if I should go with the flash, figure eight, or just stick with my normal cavesson?

Ok so this might sound like a stupid question but...How do you train a horse to go "on the bit" with a hackamore? Ive seen riders like radrigo passoa do it.

Ok I was told you can have white breeches in hunter, but its rare to actualy see it. I looked in the equine canada rulebook and nothing was said about it, they only basicly said "it has to look good". But I want to see what you guys think. is it ok? or no?

Ok so ive been "training" a 12.3 hh pony and love her to pieces. shes very athletic, and hot headed. she needs a stronger rider, and im the only one who really wants to get on her. Any way im 5'7 and 165 lbs. shes carries me no problom, has never gone lame, and seemingly can go forever with me on her back. BUT I want to know your opinion on this "weight situation". cause i kinda want to buy her as a training project and re-sell her to a young kid who can use her, but i dont want to hurt her.

Ok so I just bought a charles owen gr8 helmet, but I bought it in black/charcoal. I wanted to start dressage this year (competing) and never thought about the color of the helmet until now. I have seen people with this same helmet on before ( in dressage shows) but im not 100% sure if im allowed. Help! I really dont want to buy yet another helmet unless I have to :(

A horse decided she didnt like saddles, and tried to murder mind. Unfortunatly it was severly injured with a rip on the pannels. I was wondering roughly how much it would coast to replace it...or should i just get a new saddle.

what kind of tack, and clothing ar you alowed in S/S? i have all "jumper" gear (aka bling on my browband, square saddle pad, ect..) but are they strict in short stirrup? do i need shaped saddle pads? brown leather bridle? ect...?

ok i remeber somone saying to me once that have those small dalmation spots is lethal (myth?) any way every time i look at border collie pictures i have never seen one with as many spots as mine does...so is it really lethal?
