  • Why are so many people under the illusion that the federal government is the solution to your problems?

The federal government does not efficiently. It takes away choice from individuals. It doesn't create wealth.

The only thing that the federal government should be doing is doing things that can absolutely not be done by any other means, such as providing for national defense. In most every other case, they just get in the way of finding a better solution.

  • Would you agree that you own yourself?

Bottom line: Do you own yourself or does a government, group, religion, higher power, another individual, or some other entity own you?

My point is that I believe that there seem to be a lot of people in the world who act as though individuals do not have rights unless they are allowed to have them.

This cannot be true. I own me and you own you. The world is a better place when we understand that we control our own lives.

  • ok... would you ever let the government control your life in a significant way?

I get pretty upset about the government making stupid decisions.

    Examples:

-Marriage is only between a man and a woman (does it REALLY matter!?)

-You cannot have an abortion! (even though you really can't afford this, aren't ready for this, you're going to go have an illegal abortion now anyhow, cause these idiots aren't going to solve your problems, only you can).

I just wonder if anyone would just concede and accept that society controls you? (I'm thinking, nobody is that big of a pushover. So, then we know that all these stupid causes in their current forms are completely worthless, even if successful!)

  • Why can asking questions be SO fun!!?

The more ridiculous, the better. Isn't it funny how we humans get so excited about our little ideas! The little differences between us turn us into raging enemies! lol... funny. sick, but funny.

  • I can't understand why so many people believe their is something wrong with abortion?

With children starving all over the world and even in developed nations, why are you so excited to bring another potential welfare case into the world?

But, if you really want to solve the problem, just get all that Catholic money together to do something useful for a change besides encouraging unprotected sex. Hand out cash rewards for gals who don't abort their babies.

If what you really want to do is stop abortions, put your money where your mouth is and make it worth while to carry these pregnancies to term and give the children up for adoption. This way you can solve problems instead of just making them up!

  • Is "Yahoo! ANSWERS" some kind of communist regime?

I can't rate answers because I don't have enough points to be level two. I can't earn any more points today because I have reached my answer limit! No wonder Google is kicking Yahoo's *** in the stock market. THE CUSTOMER IS ALWAYS RIGHT DU MASS!

  • Why are Americans as a group such prudes about nudity and sexuality?

The only results I can imagine from a more open and accepting attitude about these things would be greater sexual safety and greater boredom with sex (you can only get so much of anything). The minute you make something bad and mysterious, you make it that much more desireable.

What do you good people have to say?
