  • Motherboard starts, stops and restarts.?

    Hello.

    I recently installed a motherboard (Gigabyte GA-G42M). First trial run I did with only the hard drive connected, and it went to Windows, whining about too many hardware changes, which is fine.

    The issue is that I installed a video card (PCI Express) and various other PCI cards. Since then the computer has been starting for a few seconds, it shuts off for a moment and then restarts all the way fine. Except without video. I plugged in a POST card and it seems to go through to the end. However, I'm not getting visual or even a single beep, which usually happens when POST is done.

    I have it back to having the very minimum (fans and power supply plugged in). Tried with and without the hard drive, but it does the same starting, stopping and restarting. It doesn't seem to restart over and over.

    I'm a little out of ideas as to what could be the cause, but perhaps someone has something that could give me an idea of what to try.

    Thanks!

  • Difference between negative and inverse correlation?

    Is there such a thing? Everywhere I look it says it is the same, but the question that I have to answer has both answers possible, and I can only choose one.

  • Astronomical formulas?

    I know there are a few books (Astronomical Algorithms by Jean Meeus being one), does someone happen to know of an online source of formulas for one or all of the following?:

    * Planetary positions

    * Lunar phases (with a decent accuracy)
