So a coworker sent out an email saying Friday was the birthday of my boss' boss. She wants to put together a gift for a spa for her. Fine....they're asking for $20 a person. With 25 people in the group the email went to, that's $500.

I just started at this company a month ago after being laid off for 17 months. My savings really took a hit while being out of work. Could I afford the $20...yeah, but I'm wondering if I have to give it. I don't plan on being at this job forever...looking for another job now. This job was a step backwards for me...

I'm going to be spending Thanksgiving with family in San Francisco this year and I always buy a turkey from a poultry shop in Cambridge, MA. There is a taste difference and refuse to buy a turkey from a supermarket. Thanks for your help!!!

I've talked to the dealer and they tell me I should follow what the oil use indicator tells me. The guys in service said it's not tied to the odometer and the sensor actually rates the oil.

Here's the thing...I've had the car for 5 months. Love it. But the oil indicator says I'm at 30% of my oil life and Honda service says I shoud go to 15% before change it.

The book is vague on when I should change it. It basically says to change it when the indicator tells me to. But I was raised on 3 months/3000 miles.

A friend of mine who has a new Toyota waits until he's at 5000 miles to change the oil. Is that the new standard or something?

It's something I never really looked at before today...I was on fark.com and there was a post about a girl in the Israeli army that escaped from custody by flashing her guard. Anyway, there were photos of female members of the Israeli army in the blog posts.

OK...this is a sexual question. I was speaking with my coworkers about this (men and women) and didn't think I was receiving honest answers. We are at work so that wasn't too much of a surprise...so I thought I'd ask it here...

Why is it a turn on when a guy smacks a girls behind during sex? I don't get it. I've been in one or two "adult" clubs and the dancers do this to cheers. It does nothing for me and I"m trying to figure out why it's a turn on.

Seriously....I'm trying to figure it out. My gf and I are great everywhere except the bedroom...she just lies there.
