I have shortlisted these two cars with pretty much the same features. The major difference is RAV4 is AWD and Tucson City is a 2WD, but the price difference is around AUD10000. Is RAV4 worth the 10K? Is the AWD on a compact SUV really worth it? Majority of my driving will be around the city and highways and the occasional rides around the Australian Outback.....Do you think you can go offroad on a 2WD to a certain extent?

I am planning to buy an entry level D-SLR cam. I have shortlisted the Nikon Models D40, D40x and D60....

Is the $200 price difference between D40 and D40x/D60 worth it?

The D60 is less sensitive to light then the D40 (its default ISO is only ISO 100 compared to the D40's default ISO of 200). Its less sensitive to light because the pixels have to be made smaller to cram more of them into the same-sized sensor. Smaller pixels collect fewer photons than larger pixels. Since the D60 is half as light sensitive, the D60 has to use twice as long a shutter speed or a larger aperture, which makes it more likely to make a blurry picture than the D40. The D40's faster sync speed is invaluable for use with flash outdoors, and the extra light sensitivity in normal use will help make sharper pictures. These three cameras (D40, D40x, D60) otherwise, for most users, are identical.

I feel I should be getting a D40 and putting the $300 towards more lenses and/or a bouncable flash. WHAT SAY?

1. Nikon D40

2. Nikon D40x

3. Cannon Digital Rebel Xti

I need help in finalising product.

The 3 main difference between Nikkon D40 and D40x is the resolution (6MP and 10MP) and the FPS (2.5 and 3.0) and ISO range (200-1600 and 100-1600) and there is a $200 price difference also!!! Does the technical differences above cause any impact on the quality of pics taken? Is 6MP good enough for a large size image without degrading the quality?

What I've read about the Cannon rebel xti is that the default lens which ships with the kit is not as good as the one which ships with the Nikon. Is that true? Moreover Cannon lens are more expensive compared to Nikkor lenses (Incase I go for lens upgrades at a later stage)..

And finally does D40 support VR lenses if I want to go for upgrades in the future?

I am using an S-Video cable to connect the laptop output to the TV to watch movies. I am planning to start playing games also. I am wondering if high graphics of these games would cause any harm to my TV's picture tube?

I can remember watching Kevin Arnold growing up, from 1988 until the shows end in 1993. This is a show where you can actually say, "Yeah, that happened to me too" at some point in every episode. The episode that relates best to me is the one where Kevin is trying to call the prettiest girl in class, and dials every number but the last one. He is scared of rejection, I suppose. I can remember doing the same thing at that age. And the on again, off again relationship between Kevin and Winnie was priceless, just the way it was "back in the day". I wish there were more shows like this one on now, but we are given the choice now of watching these pathetic reality programs that SUCK, and appear to entertain only the braindead of society (mostly college kids).

I GUESS IT'S THE BEST SITCOM EVER PRODUCED FOR TV.
