Miss California thinks that God is anti-gay, but pro-breast enlargement?
God doesn't mind if you sew foreign objects onto your torso to be more sexy? But...don't love anyone of the same sex. Wow. Thoughts?
16 AnswersOther - Politics & Government1 decade agoChurches should be taxed into oblivion?
I stole this from a poster who answered one of my questions, and found it a fascinating statement.
Do you agree or disagree?
9 AnswersLaw & Ethics1 decade agoDo gay people chose to be gay?
If yes, then...is heterosexuality a choice, too? You can change your mind at any time? To be gay, if you wanted to be. And having made that choice, you'd function fine, sexually and socially as a gay person, because it was your idea, you just wanted to be gay? Is this right?
23 AnswersOther - Politics & Government1 decade agoAre you passionately opposed to gay marriage?
Please tell me why. I am not gay, but cannot understand why you care so much. What does your church say?
20 AnswersOther - Politics & Government1 decade agoWhat if every American was guaranteed a college education?
Would you be opposed to this?
12 AnswersOther - Politics & Government1 decade agoWhat? Did Specter take a dive?
Coleman should be seated, says Specter.
Good luck getting elected now. Ah well, the writing was on the wall.
4 AnswersOther - Politics & Government1 decade agoExecuted for non-violent crimes?
This is a CNN online poll from this morning:
Do you agree countries should execute people for non-violent crimes such as drug smuggling?
Currently, 27% of the readers say YES. Nearly 30% of CNN readers think it is a good idea to EXECUTE people for drug smuggling. Does anyone else think this is out of whack? I'm no fan of drug smuggling, but DEATH? First offense, kill them? I'm pretty surprised about this. Thoughts? What would you vote, yes or no?
9 AnswersLaw & Ethics1 decade agoAnyone reading the anti-PETA propaganda here?
Funny, people are providing links, like www.petakillsanimals.com
(I hate to even link it, but want to prove what I'm saying). If you look at the "contact" page, you'll see that it is a site created by THESE people:
http://www.sourcewatch.org/index.php?title=Center_...
I'm not even a member of PETA. I just hate this kind of greed and BS.
3 AnswersOther - Cultures & Groups1 decade agoAre you passionately against gay marriage?
Can you please explain it to me? I'm completely baffled.
12 AnswersLesbian, Gay, Bisexual, and Transgender1 decade agoIf abortion had been banned in, say, 2000...what would the current poplutation of the US be?
And, please assume that there were no illegal abortions.
This happened to cross my mind when reading a related question here. I'm absolutely not suggesting that abortion is OK because it is a good way to control population.
7 AnswersLaw & Ethics1 decade agoI am a liberal and I LOVE the teabaggers. You?
I don't know why any of you think liberals are angry about this. I haven't laughed so hard since 2000. And I'd like to personally thank you for illustrating your lack of information for all to see.

1 AnswerElections1 decade agoSexism = letting Sarah Palin get away with running for VP?
It kills me as a feminist that this woman could get anywhere close to the White House. That was painful. I could throw a rock and find woman more qualified and more intelligent and it KILLS me that she was used in this way...any thoughts, especially from feminists??
9 AnswersOther - Politics & Government1 decade agoPlease tell me why you think Sarah Palin is "intelligent"?
Quotes, links, anything. Evidence of higher thinking. Anything. Please.
11 AnswersOther - Politics & Government1 decade agoWhat is the most stupid Sarah Palin quote you can find?
The most obscure gets the points. Good evening, all.
27 AnswersElections1 decade agoAre you an intellectual and if yes, what do you think about Sarah Palin?
I am a smart lady. And I am sincerlely having big troubles grasping the fact that so many people believe that this woman should not only represent WOMEN in this country, but should represent us internationally as an elected official...not only to the office she currently holds but to perhaps one of if not the highest office.
Talk me down? (Yeah, I'm using Rachel's terms...where is she anyway...)
Not looking for a fight - looking for insight. I'm especially looking for thoughts from those who admire Ms. Palin. Maybe it is...rising above one's own potential? I'll give her that!
9 AnswersOther - Politics & Government1 decade agoNo more tax exemption for political religious institutions?
Why do we turn a blind eye to these things? Are politicians too afraid to touch the subject? I for one have had enough of this BS.

No Political Activity For or Against Candidates Permitted
Church tax exemptions are in jeopardy if an organization engages in direct political activity either against or on behalf of a political candidate or in an attempt to directly influence the passage of particular legislation. Churches and religious organizations, just as any other tax-exempt charitable organization, are free to comment on any social, political, or moral issues. They may not, however, speak out for or against political candidates if they wish to continue being tax-exempt. Losing tax-exempt status can mean both having to pay income taxes and that donations to the group will not be tax deductible by the donors.
5 AnswersElections1 decade agoDo any of you oppose gay marraige?
Just a quick poll. Feel free to include your reasons though.
35 AnswersElections1 decade agoStill think Obama is Muslim? Why...because his Dad was?
The Dad he hung out with once? Don't you understand that religion is a choice? If Obama woke up tomorrow and said "I am now Buddhist", he would be...Buddhist. Religion is a belief system. Looking up childhood school records to uncover a person's religion is...moronic.
Agree?
8 AnswersElections1 decade agoDo you think it is odd when Americans say "I'm Irish" or "I'm Italian"...when they haven't even been abroad?
You're American. I'm proud of my ancestry, too. By the way. But I'm not Irish, or French, or German, or Swedish, or Polish. Europeans think it is really weird that we do that.
