Ok, so I am pretty sure I had my period on Jan 1st, but it came immediately after having sex, and was not 'normal'. On Jan 15th I had some spotting, and abdominal swelling. I thought I'd be going to the Dr, but decided to take a HPT first to rule pregnancy out. I was positive I would not be. Low and behold, I had 3 positive tests. So, being my 5th pregnancy (2 children, 2 prior miscarriages) I figured I'd wait a few weeks to go to the Dr. They usually won't take a patient until 8 weeks anyways. So I went to the Dr's on Feb 11th. They told me to come back Friday, Feb 13th for an u/s. I go in that Friday, and the tech asks me when how far I was supposed to be, and said that he saw nothing, but that it could just be to early. I thought for sure that I must have m/c on Jan 15th, since I had spotting then and a positive test.

So, next week rolls around, and I call my Dr. They tell me to do blood work to check my HCG levels. I went on Wednesday, Feb 18th for my 1st blood draw. My levels came back at 50. The nurse told me that they were low, and to retest on Friday and we'd go from there. So Friday Feb 20th, I go for my 2nd blood draw. My Dr's office isn't open on the weekend so I couldn't find anything out until Monday Feb 23rd. I call, and the nurse tells me to our surprise that my levels had come in at 93, which is nearly doubling. She tells me to go have more blood work done. So, I went for my 3rd blood draw on Monday Feb 23rd. I called this morning, and she tells me that they were at 900+ (from over the weekend). Needless to say, I am in shock. I never had my period return from Jan 1st.

So how is it possible for me to just now have my levels going up and then nothing shown on the u/s? Did I miscarry, and then not have a period, but ovulated again only to become pregnant again? Am I missing something?

Has anyone every had this happen, or heard of it before? I have been Googleing for 2 days now!

Any advice, or responses are greatly appreciated!

Ok, I think I might be pregnant and I thought i'd ask to see if anyone else has gone through what I am. A little about myself... I had my beautiful daughter 11/19. I found out the end of March I was pregnant again. I ended up miscarrying a month later. Since then I have had 3 normal periods. My LMP was July 3rd. I have 28 day cycles. So, by my calculations I should have started my period between July1st-5th. It is now the 11th and still nothing. Mind you, my periods are like clockwork, and I have never had this happen before w/o being pregnant. This however is the first time I have had repeated neg HPTs. I have taken 4 tests and all negative. I have an apt tomorrow to have a blood test. However, this is driving me nuts so I am looking for others that have had a similar experience! My symptoms are as follows~ my right breast is leaking colostrum, I have had period like cramping on/off for 10 days, I have been more tired than usual, a strong sense of smell, and last but not least 4 bouts of nausea w/o vomiting. My husband and I were not 'trying', but we were aware of our actions (obviously). So anyone with similar experiences? If so how did they turn out?

Ok so I have a 2002 Chevy Blazer 4x4. We just got back from our camping trip, and it ran well. I went out to leave and it wouldn't start... No lights, no crank, nothing! We jumped it, and it started but it would not stay started w/o pressing the gas. So my thought was battery/alternator. We took the battery out and had it tested and it was fully charged (meaning the alternator and battery are fine). So when we put the battery back in it would turn over, but took a few times until it finally stayed started (sounded bad). We let it run for a few minutes and were going to test drive it. When we put the car in drive it immediately died. Started it up and tried again... same result. I noticed some condensation out of the tailpipe and some under the car. I am not sure if that has anything to do with it, but it is not cold out here and the ac was not on. We drove the car for a while earier too. So any mechanincs out there have any idea what we should check next? Thank you for your imput!

I have been taking vicodin for chronic back pain for over a year now. I have learned that the hydrocodone (opiate) stays in your system for 2-3 days, but how long does the acetaminophen part of the vicodin stay in your system for?

I recently found out I am pregnant and have taken Vicodin for over a year for chronic back pain up till I found out about my pregnany. When I went in for my pregnancy test my dr had me do a cultured urinalysis. The results came back negative, but I was told I had excessive amount of vicodin in my system. What effects will this have on my pregnancy even tho I discontinued the meds 2 weeks ago.... right after I found out. And how did they detect this in my system if it was suppose to be to see if i had an infection? I have an immediate appt for an ultrasound in the morning and am kinda freaked. Can anyone shine a lil light on my situation for me?

I have checked all the fluids, and they all are fine. No lights have come on, and other than the smoke my car runs great. I thought it was overheating, but then i relized it only did it when i put my car into reverse. The smoke is coming from the back of my engine. I just need an idea of what it could be, because i am not gonna put anymore money into it if it is going to be expensive.
