I got a tattoo last Friday on my inner forearm. I have four other tattoos and know that each part of the body heals differently. It's healing pretty normally except for the top inch of the four inch tattoo closest to the elbow. Its the only part where green ink was used. It is red right along the edge and the ink seems to be oozing out. There are no red streaks, it doesn't smell, it's not swollen or puffy, and it's not particularly hot or feverish, maybe a little hot right where it is red. I clean it with Dove sensitive non scented soap 3 times a day and used A+D ointment for three days and non scented lotion after that like all my other tattoos. I went to my tattoo artist and he said it was just irritated, is he right? Could it be infected, a reaction to the green ink, or just irritated?

I've had yeast infections before, but this one seems a bit different. I'm on anti-biotics right now and I know they cause yeast infections. I'm itching and burning, but not inside the vagina as much as outside, like by the lips and clit. Is this still a yeast infection?

It just started today. I'm going to get medicine as soon as I figure out what I should be getting!

I got both nipples pierced a little over a month ago. I took excellent care of them, I washed them 3-4 times a day with H2Ocean and made sure they didn't snag on anything. My left one doesn't look abnormal, in fact it looks wonderfully healed, but it really hurts to move the hoop to the right. The left end of the piercing burns anytime I slide the hoop though. There is some discharge, but it looks completely normal since both holes have a little discharge (no weird colored discharge or anything) Is it just irritated? Please answer this ONLY if you can provide RELEVANT help, thanks!

I got a tattoo on the side of my foot yesterday, but couldn't call out of work today. I was in HORRIBLE pain all day (I work on my feet 8 hours a day) and now my foot is swollen. The tattoo looks fine but my foot HURTS! can anyone help?

What does it feel like to go through one? I work as a dealer at a casino and every time I'm on the floor with all those flashing lights and ten million different sounds at once; my head starts REALLY hurting and for 15-30 seconds I can't move and my jaw clenches up really bad. Right after wards, though, I feel fine, like nothing happened. The only thing I can find on the internet about them is what it looks like for someone else to go through it. I want to know if that's what is happening to me. I know I should go to a doctor, but it cost like $500 to see a neurologist in my area and like $3000 to get a CT scan since I don't have insurance. I would just like to get an idea of whats happening to me before i can afford to see a doctor. When my head does start hurting, its in a very small specific spot, like front right or left temple etc. But, its hurt in a different spot each time. I've been trying to research simple partial seizures along with petit mal seizures but it would help a lot to hear from someone with experience. THANKS!!!!

I posted this question once before with no informative answers. Does anyone out there have microdermal anchors? Do they hurt worse than a regular piercing? Does anyone have any info on them? Whats the healing process like? Any info will help!

I REALLY want to get a foot tattoo, but I work one my feet all day and have to wear tennis shoes. Would it be possible? I cannot afford to take off just to let a tattoo heal. any advice?

I got a tattoo about 6 days ago. I've been really good about taking care of it!!! I was in the shower just now and I guess I let it get wet for too long cause when I went to wash it, I was wiping gently with my hand and ALL the scabs came off at once! None of the ink came off the skin with it or anything, in fact it still looks great, just worried if it will fade faster or anything. Someone told me since its been about a week already, it should be fine. What do y'all think?

My two year old boy is becoming uncontrollable!! He constantly screams for what he wants. If I make oatmeal for him for breakfast, he throws a fit. He LIKES oatmeal!! he will refuse to eat and throw himself on the floor. His fits can last up to three hours long. If you ask him if he want to watch a movie, play outside, read a book, anything, its always no! but when he does want something he wants it "right now!" I don't even say that around him! He wakes up from naps screaming like someone is beating him and continue that for about 45 minutes to 2 hours. He refuses to potty train. I timed one of his fits today and it lasted 3.5 hours. I've tried time out, consoling him, yelling, everything but spanking. Nothing works. everything turns into a hissy fit. coming inside, taking a bath and especially bed time. it takes him an hour to scream himself to sleep. He refuses to answer me when I talk to him and won't even look anyone in the eyes when they talk to him to correct him.

I'm getting a half sleeve in two weeks. I'm very excited! My first tattoo smeared a tiny bit (no one can tell but me really) I was wondering if it was because of what I used or did I do something wrong, or if it was the artist? I used Vasoline Healing Lotion because it wasn't petroleum based or scented or colored which is what my aftercare sheet said I needed. I don't want the same thing to happen with my sleeve!

A couple people have told me 40 is the "age of regret" when it comes to tattoos. Anyone 40 or over in here regretting their tats? I plan on getting a rather large tattoo on my upper arm (yes I'm a girl). It has a lot of meaning to me so I seriously doubt I'll regret it. This is just a poll because I'm curious and bored! LOL

if you are a member) My problem is that most people say that is too cheap! There is not many good shops in my area. The one people keep telling me to go to is super expensive and always booked. I met him in person today and we talked about what I wanted and he made me very comfortable! Just worried because I know I'm not going to the best, most expensive place in town. I really like the artist but should I wait and pay three times as much?
