almost 50,000 in gifts were stolen from the empty stocking fund... what kind of person would do that? its ridiculous... who NEEDS all that stuff so bad that they would take it from a child?

(Project 961 held a lock in a few days ago and were hoping to raise $50,000...Their efforts raised $96,500 from its listeners. This total was matched by a local company as well. and one man (his grand parents had a fund for charities) gave 16,000 pushing them past the 50,000 mark... several people gave $500... people gave what they could and every cent was appreciated... )

however, the generosity shown above doesn't make up for the fact that some people are so cold...that they felt THEY deserved the 50k in toys clothes jewelry and back packs more than the children...
