I asked my BF for space when I found out my cousin got in a wreck??

If I call a cell phone and it rings once and goes straight to voicemail does that mean its turned off? I called from my home phone too and same thing?

My exboyfriend recently broke up with me because his grandpa died. I am really worried about him. What should I do to show him I am there for him

He is reay great but is in between two jobs right now and has no breaks. I really care about him a lot but for my birthday and vday he says he bought me something but keeps for getting to give it to me. It's not the gift I care about but the excuse that I don't like. How do I approach or ask this with out sounding needy or naggy

Ok so for my birthday and valentines day my boyfriend said he bought me a gift but keeps for getting to bring it. I want to talk to him and ask if he really had no time to get me or gift or if he really keeps for getting to bring them. But how do I do that without sounding emotional or needy about it. It's not the gift I care about but the fact that I feel like its am excuse or a lie. Thanks for the help

I feel like I made a mistake and didn't realize that by us being "friends" did not mean we were completely over. What should I do?

He told me he liked me and that I did nothing wrong and wanted to be friends still. I told him I couldn't be and then he got pissed and said that he and I are nothing than. He also said that we shouldn't talk atleast not for awhile. At that time I wasn't thinking clearly and said I can't because even when he and I are friends its just the two of us still. Now he wont even talk to me. I really miss him and I was suppose to go to his families before Christmas. I know his family is having problems right now and he takes a lot of responsibility and helps with his two brothers, I used to do that a lot as well so I understand what he is going through and told him I could be there for him. His step dad drinks a lot just like my dad did. So now i feel bad. He is so upset and I wish that I didn't give him an ultimatum like that. I can't take it back. It just hurts that we aren't talking. I apologized and let him know how I really feel about him and us. I don't know what else to do. Should I just give him his space? I know I am probably going to have to move on but all I could do was text him and tell him how thankful I am to have him in my life. Have any of you gotten back together with you exboyfriend what did you do? So I've sent him a text requesting some space and few texts of some things to think about and how I would be there for him through this hard time; He said wants to be friends but because I couldn't he said fine then we will be nothing and not talk well atleast not for awhile. He also said he still likes me and I know he has stuff to think about and is going through a tough time. I haven't been begging or pleading to get back together with him but I did tell him that space is good for us and I agree and let him know I am interested in getting back together but will continue moving on.

If he said we shouldn't talk any more atleast not for awhile does that mean this is a break? He still wanted to be friends, invited me for xmas and he and my friend work together and he didn't tell her anything that happened and normally he does. he even told her I was going over for xmas. he asked me not to tell my friend so I thought he was going to tell her we broke up but he didn't he only told her he still had to by xmas presents

Also I know he is dealing a lot with his family and our families our similar my brother also said he probably does't know how to handle the fact that he finally met a girl that he can really relate to and understands where he is coming from.

If he wanted to have been broken up wouldn't he have told me friend? he also said You have done nothing wrong I just want to be single.
