  • Need legal help regarding a trade gone wrong!?

About two years ago my mom's yorkie passed away. Losing him made her so sick, heartbroken, and bed ridden from depression. I was destined to get another one to make her happy. So on craigslist there was a lady wanting to trade a yorkie for a a calf, and I had an extra calf I could trade. Well, she claimed the puppy was registered, and worth $1200 because of her size. Well the puppy wasn't vaccinated when I got her, got parvo (but survived) and we had to spend over $1300 to try and save her, and is "registered" ACA which is a bogus registry!!! She isn't worth $1200!! Long story short my calf died before the lady could get it and she said she is going to sue me for the cost of the puppy TWO YEARS LATER or I need to give her 3 calves! Angus calves are about $350/each right now. The puppy wasn't healthy or vaccinated when I got, and she ISN'T really registered!! Can she sue me? Does she have a leg to stand on? What would the judge most likely rule? Any help will be appreciated!

  • How much to charge for horse boarding in Oklahoma?

I have boarded horses before, and I know it can be quite pricey. The last place I boarded was charging $375/per stall with run. Pasture boarding was an extra $75. Keep in mind this was full-board too. Partial board was $200. It doesn't get much cheaper from there at other places, either. I just purchased land with a 6 stall barn with runs. There are also 6 seperate fenced off areas for pasture boarding. I am looking to provide full-care only. In Oklahoma, what is the average going rate for full-board for a stall, and also full-board for pasture?

  • How do you tell the gender of chicks?

I just purchased four Barred Plymouth Rock straight-run chicks. Could anyone tell me how to find the gender? I'm hoping for hens for eggs, and if I have any roosters then I can exchange them for some others(and hopefully for hens!). I know it's complicated to tell the gender(so I've heard) but I'm willing to do anything to see what I've got. Thank you!

  • HELP! NEED HELP PREVENTING LANDLORD FROM LETTING PEOPLE MOVE IN!?

An apartment recently opened next door(more like a duplex I guess) well I have met the people before and they are BAD NEWS. What can I do to make the landlord decide not to let them move in? Or to make the people chang their minds? I already tried to convince the landlord, but he won't listen, and he's a stubborn 80 year old. Soo...any ideas? My friend said to infest the place with roaches, buy a bunch of scorpions and let them loose in there(or tarantulas or other types of spiders) or finding a warrant or something criminal in their background and giving it to the landlord(whos a former pastor). I know it's wrong, but it'll save our landlords time if we get rid of them before they move in!! HELP WITH THE SERIOUS IDEAS!!! Thank you!

  • My red/white pembroke welsh corgi has a blue eye...Could she have blue merle in her pedigree?

I have a full-blood pembroke welsh corgi. She is AKC registered, and I received her from an accredited breeder for free because her blue eye isn't permissable to the breeds' standard. I love her blue eye, and the vet said she isn't blind out of it and it's fully functional. I read somewhere that blue merle isn't in Pembrokes, but only in Cardigans. How do you think she could've aquired that blue eye? I have her pedigree but know nothing about her background and I'm only familiar with the parents, not the grandparents or anything else. The breeder said this is her first blue eyed pup. Any thoughts would be awsome!
