I will be getting married this summer and want to know if my fiancee (age 21) will be able to get a pell grant for the 2011-2012 school year. I know that if she is single and under 24 they label her as "dependent" on her parents and she is denied the Pell grant.

Can she retroactively apply? Or are we just stuck?

By the way, my income is basically $0 or very low because I am going to a professional school and living off other student loans.

I did not earn 1 paycheck this year (it was a very busy year academically) but I did get quite a hefty disbursement from my student loans.

I am a Colorado resident, going to school in another state.

Do I need to file state or federal taxes?

I can call *4 and listen to an automated message telling me how many minutes/texts I have used, but I want to know if I can text/call a number get that information texted to me.

It boots up fine if I actually Shut Down the computer, but when I "restart" it, or if a program causes it to restart it will show the Toshiba screen and then blacks out.

During normal start up this black screen appears for about 15 seconds and then it moves on to the Windows Welcome screen.
