    How to charge a 12 volt, 2.5 Ah Lead-Acid battrey for wifi device?

    Hello All!

    I've a wifi device which runs on 12 volt with 1 amp. I've bought 1 lead-acid 12 volt, 2.5 Ah battery and a 12 volt, 6000 MA adapter. Now the adapter or charger is connected to the wifi device through battery. I want it to charge the battery and run the device at same time & when there is power shut down, the battery should run the wifi device.

    Is it ok by this way I've done? or do I need to change anything? We have 9 hours power shut down in every 24 hours. Charging the lead-acid battery with 12 volt, 6000 MA is ok for 15 hours? while device is also running on same charger.
