Ok i practice IFR on FSX so it will be less confusing when i take the real lessons. But i wanted to ask real pilots if it is true that if you put in information on the gps computer than hit gps instead of nav then hit nav hold on the autopilot the plane will fly itself to the location. If not how do commercial/military pilots do it in real life. Thank You

I am currently a sophomore in high school and i really want to go to a csu. The problem is i messed up my freshman year. I failed Spanish and this year i am taking art(i failed spanish 1st semester passed 2nd). My freshman gpa was 2.3. this year i am doing better. So what do i have to do in order to make up? I plan on taking spanish again next year. I am also doing community service. please help.

Please help me out on this. It has been my dream to become a pilot for a major airline. I am currently a sophomore in high school. My plan is to apply to the air force academy. I understand the chances of me getting into the academy are very minimal. So i also decided if i do not get accepted to the academy i will go to a CSU or try to get into a UC and join ROTC and try to become a officer- pilot again. If that doesn't work out again i will get a commercial rating and go on the civilian route to becoming a commercial pilot. So my question is DO YOU THINK THIS IS A GOOD PLAN? if you were in my shoes what would you do. No one in my family has been in US military or pilot before so i really need help. I want to fly planes for the united states air force. I understand that you have to become a officer to do so. So to all the af officers out thier what would you recomend. would it be eaasier to go to the air force academy or join rotc. How much does it cost to work for a professional airline. i want to become a professional pilot and was wondering how much it costs. what is the average cost in the U.S from getting a college degree to ratings and ATP PPL CPL IPL. Also is it better to go your own route or join the airforce or army first.
