  • Your thoughts on this recipe idea please...?

I am thinking of making a nilla wafer crust with butter, cinnamon and sugar, pressing out into a tart pan and blind baking for 10 min. Then taking fresh cranberries and chopping them finely and placing them on the crust, topping with fat free condensed milk and then a brown sugar, cinnamon, walnut and oatmeal crumble. Probably baking at 350 for 20-30 minutes.

Does that sound like something good? I'm bored with normal desserts and wanna try something new. Or if you have a way to make it better let me know!

    Thanks!!

  • Has anyone tried the Figure 8 Weight Loss Program by Arbonne?

If so, please give me any feedback you have.

    ~did it help you?

~did you have any weird side-effects?

~how long did you use it/are you still doing it?

~did you only use some of the products in the program (to save money or whatever reason) and did those products work at all?

Thanks for taking the time to respond! Very much appreciated!

  • Does it bother anyone else when their answers get a thumbs down?

It bothers me when you answer an opinion/survey question and get 5 thumbs down. The question is "what is your favorite kind of red wine" and somehow your answer is wrong when you put your favorite brand of red wine. The thumbs down is seriously getting out of control.

I thought the thumbs down was to be used when the answerer didn't answer the question or gave some smart-alec remark. Conversly the thumbs up would be used if they answered the question appropriately. However, in any category on here you can see it's not being used that way.

It's annoying because you can take the time to write a good answer that might help the person who asked it and come back and find it was given a thumbs down because it conflicted with someone else's view.

Everyone has a right to an opinion! (Likewise, if you disagree with me - please give me your reasons and I will NOT give you a thumbs down...I guarantee it!) =)

  • Regarding recipe questions on YA: Is it just me?

It's become a pet peeve of mine when I see questions asking for good recipes and the responses they receive are just copied from cooks.com or allrecipes.com. Any brainless idiot can do that and it really bugs me that people can't think of other ways to get their 2 points. If you haven't tried the recipe that is needed or if you don't even know anything about it, don't just type it into these food databases and paste what you find.

    That is all. =)

  • Survivor Fans: do you see a resemblance between...?

Jonathon (from last season and a returning member of favorites this season) and Paul Reiser?

I thought that a lot last season when he was on, and last night everytime I saw him I thought about Mad About You.

  • When do I get my license plates if I included it in my financing. And how?

I bought my new car in Portland, OR and I live in WA state. Oregon only issues 20 day tags for new cars. How do I get my license plates at this point? I included the licensing in my financing. My 20 days are almost up!
