  • Does this mp3 player type product exist?

ok, I don't know alot about mp3 players but I have had a few and can never get them to play videos. I just want something that has a little 2 to 4 inch screen (nothing too big cause' I want to take it to work) that I can plug into my computer, click and drag a video in there.. and the thing just FREAKING play it! I don't want to have to make it a certain size or try to change the format.. I just want it to play it. Is that too much to ask?

  • Build a Silencer on a form 1?

So how does this work? I had always thought that you had to be some sort of licensed manufacturer to build a silencer. Recently, however, I heard that one can be built on a form 1. But how does this work? Do you build the tube first, have it engraved, then file your paperwork, then build the rest? or do you file the paperwork first (If so, would you have to be the one doing all of the machining and engraving)? I could build a bunch of scenarios but it would be easier if someone just told me.

PS: please don't answer this question if you don't have any real experience with filing a form 1. Thanks

  • What should I know about making an SBR?

I want to file a Form 1 with the BATF and turn my LMT lower into a SBR. This will be my first time trying this. I understand that It will cost $200 and there will be a waiting period for the stamp, however, I have also heard something about having to engrave the receiver as if I was the manufacturer. Can anyone with experience with SBR-ifi-ing a rifle give me some tips about getting this done. I would be doing it under my living trust if that makes any difference.

  • do out of state class 3 transfers require 2 tax stamps?

I bought a 22 silencer locally and paid $495 plus the $200 tax stamp (I overpaid but for this first one but I wanted all the help that I could get from the dealer). I know that I can get a much better price on my next one online but is there a second tax stamp required for out of state purchases (one for the transfer from the seller to my class 3 dealer and then one from the dealer to me)? any other advice from your class 3 experiences would be helpful too... thanks

  • Will a Tommy gun pistol accept a wooden stock?

I want a SBR tommy gun because im sick of looking at that 18 inch barrel on mine. I have long considered filing my paperwork and converting my rifle into a SBR but doing some research, It looks like it would be cheaper and easier just to buy a Tommy gun pistol and file the paperwork to make it the SBR. I have never had a chance to properly examine one of these pistols though. I need someone to tell me what It would take to attach a regular wood butt stock to the pistol. I'm guessing that I'll need to make some threaded holes in the bottom of that trigger assembly piece. Is there anything on that pistol that would prevent the stock from fitting correctly? any other input? suggestions? thanks

  • Speed Trigger (2 shots per trigger pull)?

I was looking on gunbroker and came across a mini 30 that was advertised to have a "speed trigger" which meant that the rifle fired when the trigger was pulled and fired again upon release of the trigger. the add said that the rifle had a BATF approved letter. How can this be and how can I get one of these letters. I was under the impression that modifying one of my rifles to fire this way would fall under the category of manufacturing a machine gun (because the weapon would fire more than once per trigger pull). Please elaborate if you know anything about this.. thanks

  • Which tommy gun is the WW2 one?

I bought a tommy gun about 6 months ago with the intentions of sending in my SBR paper work and turning it into a reproduction of the WW2 1927a1. I noticed, however, that there are 2 types. I have a charging handle on the top of mine, but there are a few out there that are side cockers. Which is right? If its the side cocker.. anyone want to trade? I'd buy it too if the price is right. Let me know.

  • What is my 1919a4 worth?

I just ordered a GM manufactured one with spade grips so I need to sell my old one. I'd like to get about 1300 out of it but the gun buying market has sort of dropped off in the last couple of months. Check it out and tell me what I should expect to get

  • Can metal MG links hurt steel cased ammo?

I want to link up and store about 1000 rounds of Steel cased 308 for my 1919a4. If I do this, will the contact between the steel case and the link cause damage to the ammo over a long period of time?

  • Is a belt fed Rifle California legal?

Believe me, I have no intentions of EVER living there, not even visiting, but I am curious. There is no magazine on a 1919a4 so Its capacity can't be regulated. 100 links not linked together are only really one shot each. So does that make it legal through a loophole or something?

  • class 3 short barreled rifle question?

ok, so the plan is to buy a short barreled ar15 lower assembly on gunbroker, then buy a ar pistol and obviously put the little upper on the sbr lower. my question is, what can I do with the pistol lower. Is there a way that I could put a stock on it and a 16 in barrel upper and call it a rifle with a pistol Receiver or is that not legal? I know I can buy the pistol upper separately but it looks like you get a better deal when you buy it all together (the pistol anyway)

  • Saw 5 question (bathtub room)?

ok, I know its out dated but I just saw this movie for the first time yesterday and I was wondering if something would have worked. In the bathtub room, could they not have just taken off some clothes (shirts or socks or something) and put them in the tub and got them all soaked with water. then, Connect all of the wires with tied together soaked clothes to complete the circuit. Then in the next room, take the wet clothes and kind of wring the clothes out in the saw holes to fill the jar with water instead of blood. Just wondering if those two things would work.

  • which way do the links go in? 1919a4?

I know this sounds like a stupid question, but for the life of me, I cant see a real difference. The belt feeds well both ways so I don't think there is a difference. I cant seem to find the answer anywhere else and maybe Im just not looking hard enough but can someone please tell me which way.. the end with the 1 loop or the end with the 2 loops?
