my friend is very ill. she has a sore throat and cough, etc. for like 2 wks. now, has taken antibiotics and cant better. just want to know if this could help her pain and help her sleep?

i guess mine would probably have to be "animal house". i know its dated and everything, but belushi and the whole cast were just classic. the cafeteria scene still cracks me up. fast tiems at ridgemont high is up there too.

pick one of each. base it on their roles, acting ability, personality, looks(if you want), movies theyve done, overall believeability, etc. and try to give an example or two of why you picked them. they can be from any era or any age. For me, actor would be Ryan gosling. i have followed him for years now. he is, without a doubt, the most talented actor. he can play any kind of role. he has charisma, looks, charm and personality. not only in movies, but real life also. he is like watching a very believeable and true character in every film he does. his performances in "half nelson", "blue valentine", "all good things", and "the ides of march" were all oscar worthy. i really believe that when he is old, he will go down with the greats, like deniro, pacino, brando, morgan freeman, denzel, etc.

For actresses, i would have to say without a doubt, jessica lange. she, too is classy, beautiful, and spot on in every role. "Frances" and "blue sky" were two of her alltime great performances. she is such a delight to watch. she is poised, beautiful and oh, so talented. i adore her.

I must say I saw that movie "the descendants" with george clooney, that won the golden globe, and will probably win the academy award too, and i really found it boring, and most of the characters very annoying. clooney did well,. but i find it hard to believe this was worth an oscar. it's just my opinion, and i think hes talented and everything, but i think ides of march looks much better. also, i cant believe how bridesmaids didnt win, and not to be mean, but theyre acting like it was this huge deal moneyball didnt win. i didnt see it, but doesnt look like i missed much. my dad said jonah hill was nto too good in it.gosling shouldve won.

I kind of do. I feel Dakota has a lot of the traits Jodie had. Both started acting very young. both extremely talented and intelligent. neither one is an attention seeker. both take on very versatile roles. i also believe, that like jodie, dakota will not get involved in all the real life drama in Hollywood. jodie is now and always has been very grounded and likeable, and i feel the same way about dakota. she just seems like such a sweet, polite and charming girl.

give a couple movies of theirs that you love and why you find them so appealing.

Mine for actress would be jessica lange. i think she has an air about her and she can pull off any role very naturally. i loved her in "blue sky" and i think she is superb all around.

my choice for actor without a doubt, is robert deniro. he can paly any character and convince you that he is that character. i think he is phenominal in all his movies, but nothing can beat "taxi driver" or " raging bull".

for younger stars, i would say for actress, definitely amanda seyfried because she is fun to watch and really gives her all in every performance/ she was great in "chloe" and dont laugh, but i think she was good in jennifers body. for actors, hands down, it is ryan gosling. he is phenominal. i think he is going to keep getting so many roles and offers, he wont be able to keep up. his expressions are classic and every line he delivers is genuine. when i watch one of his movies, i really feel like im part of the film. he is fantastic in "all good things", "half nelson", "blue valentine", and everything hes done.

and while we're at it, which actress and actor seem like they would be the most fun to just hang out and have a couple beers with and would be really sincere?

i am a chronically ill mom of 3 and my husband works very hard at 2 jobs just to make ends meet. i feel very bad for him. our kids are great, hard-working kids who do well in school and are very active in sports also. my daughter is a college freshman, my middle son is a high school senior with high aspirations, and our youngest son is a high school freshman. my husband and i both have always put our kids first. my husband has stood by me always and never left my side. he has always been there for the kids in spite of working so much and gone to every activity of theirs he could. he always has taken care of me and dealt with all my problems, surgeries, etc. he never seems to get to rest. anyways, our medical bills are outrageous! we have insurance, but it is very expensive! his boss pays half, he pays half. just for one month, the cost is over $800. then, we have large deductables and copays. as you can imagine, we also pay a fortune in prescriptions monthly. he has some health issues too. nothing chronic like mine though. my hospital stays, treatments, dr visits, meds, etc. never end. not to mention when our kids get sick, plus sports injuries. i worry about this night and day. and i cant imagine what my husband's stress is like, i know its through the roof. he is the best dad and spouse someone could ask for, and i dont know too many people who could deal with these things as well as he has. i know its cause he loves us so much. anyways, as of late, and for years now, but recently, it has gotten extremely bad, we are getting nonstop collection letters, letters from lawyers threatning lawssuits, etc, letters i dont even really understand. just all sorts of crazy stuff. i mean our insurance pays tham a lot, and we pay monthly what we can, but its never enough. plus, we have no dental or eye coverage. so, all those are self pay. im at my wits end and dont know how to handle these things. can they take our house? i mean, what can we do? we really need help! thank you. any advice is greatly appreciated. i dont mean to sound like im complaining, i know things could always be worse. im just super scared.

i believe it was in the 70s cause i watched it when i was little and it scared me. it was about these hippie vampires in like a cult and they kept trying to drive the main character crazy and like youre never sure if she is crazy or stuff is really happening. thank you for your help
