  • iPhone adapter, but the opposite way?

I have a Macbook that only has the old outlet for earbuds. I have recently lost my old iPhone earbuds (with the old plug) and only have the new earbuds, the ones that only plug into the charging port. Now I can't listen to anything on my computer unless it's out loud. Is there an adapter that I can plug the new iPhone earbuds into and have it go into an old port? I'm only seeing ones that go the opposite way that I need them. Please leave links or websites! Thank you.

  • Why, in poor neighborhoods, do people wander the streets more?

Any time you go into a poor neighborhood, there's always people out and about looking very aimless. They walk slow and wear baggy clothes. Now go to a middle or an upper class neighborhood. People always look like they have a purpose, as they walk faster in a more definite direction. And the quantity of people per block is down also. On a poor block, you'd probably see more than 20 people. On a rich block, you'd see less than 5. In particular, why do kids and teenagers of poor neighborhoods spend a lot more time wandering around with their friends than teenagers of wealthier neighborhoods?

  • Front facing camera blurry?

So I have an iPhone 5s. I got it about 9 months ago, and it's operated perfectly besides the problem with the front camera. The camera is blurry and I don't know how to fix it. Nothing is on the exterior so I cannot simply wipe it off. It looks like dust particles or some sort of powder got into the camera, but I have no idea how that would happen, as my camera isn't cracked and it's completely sealed. This also happened with my last Android phone.

  • Question on a penalty in the Bears-Patriots game?

So my question is on a play during the Bears-Patriots game that happened today (10/26/14). The Patriots had the ball on the Bears 1 yard line. The Pats ran the ball three times, getting stuffed by the the Bears each of the three times. So it was fourth and goal. The Pats run the ball again and the Pats running back gets tackled for a 3 yard loss. The bears should have taken over on downs. But a flag on the play was against the Pats (holding for 5 yards). So the down was replayed, making it 4th and goal. The pats opt for a field goal. So my question is how come the bears didn't decline the holding penalty, therefore giving them (the bears) the ball instead of accepting the penalty, replaying the down, and giving the pats three points. I may be confused on the rules regrading declining/accepting penalties.

  • Clash of clans requesting troops?

I just want to know what hitting the "request now!" button does. I don't want to use it because it uses a lot of gems and I'm trying to save up for a fifth builder. How does hitting that button increase the speed at which you receive troops?

  • Why do people say that Rodgers is better than Manning?

So on today's episode of "The NFL's Top Players of 2013", Aaron Rodgers was ranked as the 11th best player in the league. And everyone is complaining that Rodgers is under appreciated and undervalued and that he deserves to be higher on the list. Many even go as far as to say that Rodgers is superior to Peyton Manning. It's insane how people think Rodgers is better than Manning. Keep in mind, the show that everyone is complaining about is called THE TOP PLAYERS OF 2013. Not 2010, not 2011, not 2012. We're talking strictly about 2013. Understandably, Rodgers only played 9 games versus Manning's 16, but Manning still tops Rodgers in every major per game category (categories that aren't effected by number of games played). I'll give you a list of 2013 statistics and awards from the two quarterbacks from the 2013 season.

    Manning:

    TDs: 55 (record)

    INTs: 10

    Yards: 5,477 (record)

    Passes comp: 450

    Passes att: 659

    Pass %: 68.3%

    Yards/game: 342.3

    Rate: 115.1

    First team-All pro

    Offensive POY

    NFL MVP

    Rodgers:

    TDs: 17

    INTs: 6

    Yards: 2,536

    Passes comp: 193

    Passes att: 290

    Pass %: 66.6%

    Yards/game: 281.8

    Rate: 104.9

    No major awards

Again, keep in mind the list is based strictly upon the 2013 season. I can easily make a case that Manning's career is superior to Rodger's, but that's not what my question is about. I dare anyone here to make a case that Rodger's deserves top be higher than Manning on "The Top Players of 2013" list.

  • Why do I get a faint feeling when I stand up?

Every time I'm sitting for more than 5 or so minutes and I stand up and begin to walk, I get extremely light headed and I feel like I'm about to faint. I see dark spots and my vision gets blurry. I'm a 15 year old male with no previous health issues. These faint feelings started happening about 6 months ago. Sometimes I'll collapse, sometimes I need to grab something to stabilize myself, and sometimes I can just keep walking without any trouble. Does anyone know what this could be and what's triggering it?

  • Why didn't Jozy Altidore play against Belgium?

Jozy Altidore was cleared, ready, and available for today's game against Belgium... but he didn't play a single minute. I understand that it was unlikely that Altidore would start or play all 90 minutes due to the severity of his injury, but America's star striker didn't play at all. Why is this? I expected when it came down to the wire, in overtime, needing a goal to force penalty kicks, Altidore would be subbed in. Why didn't Klinsmann put in his star striker when it mattered most?

  • Can a cone be made from an isosceles triangle?

    Here's what the question says:

Triangle ABC with sides AB=10, AC=10, and BC=12 is rotated around the altitude to BC. What is the volume of the cone formed?

I just can't picture how to make a cone from an isosceles triangle. I ask that instead of trying to explain to me how to make a cane from this triangle, just give me values for the volume of a cone (A=1/3(r^2)h). Thank you!

  • Trigonometric functions???????????????

Find the point(s) on the unit circle through which the terminal ray of each angle x passes

    sec x = -2

I know I have to use the inverse key for this. If it had said sin instead of sec, I would just hit the sin^-1 button on my calculator. But there's no sec button on my calculator. My books tells me I should use the cos^-1 button in this case because the inverse of cosine is secant. So then I type in cos^-1(-2) but I get an error. How do I solve this without an error in my calculator? There is an answer in the back of the book so there obviously isn't supposed to be an error

  • Sine function why is my answer wrong?

    The question is:

Find the value of x if sin x = 0.4695

(The answer will be between 90 and 180 because there is a diagram showing the angle in standard form in with the terminal ray extending out into quadrant 2)

I thought I could just input sin^-1 (0.4695) and get the answer. When I do this, I get 28. The answer in the back says 152. Why is this? I understand I'd have to change my answer of 28 so it's between 90 and 180, but I don't know how to get 152. I noticed the 28+152 is 180 but I don't know how this is relevant.
