I'm an intelligent individual with an open mind about a variety of subjects. I enjoy varied genres of music but enjoy mostly late 70's and early 80's rock commonly called "head banger" music. I dabble a bit in electronics and have learned a great deal from trial and error, but could use some input from my emailers to learn more. I'm mad, I've always been mad, everyone says I'm mad. Yo!! Pipples I be a modern day pirate with a hankerin' fer all sorts of stories from everybody. Once in awhile I may come up with a question that may stir your imagination. Don't be surprised if I make some kind of comment about your answer or contact you if possible because of an answer. Then again you may just have a unique avatar. All in all if you were me I'm pretty sure I'd like me. No, I'm not schizophrenic and neither am I. Write me anytime about anything just click on my avatar. Cheers to all my friends on Yahoo! Answers. Death to all the trolls!!!

  • How do you remove a question from YA! after you accept best answer?

I've some questions I submitted 6 or 7 years ago that I'm still receiving answers to though I've already accepted best answer to them. I may be overlooking something simple, but perhaps not, because I seem to recall a function that allowed you to delete your questions. I can't find that function anywhere on the YA! home page. HEEEEEEEELLLLLLLLLLLLLPPPPPPPPPP!!!!!!!!!

  • How do I access my Yahoo Notepad?

I had a notepad with much of my writing I had saved along with about 1,500 jokes I'd saved. Since I started using the "new and improved" Yahoo I've been getting all sorts of errors and can't access information I'd saved before I switched. How can I return to my earlier Yahoo program or access my notepad from this program?

  • Was "Listen to What the Man Said" used in a sitcom?

Recently I got into an argument about a Paul McCartney song as to whether it was used at anytime on the old 70s sitcom "Chico and the Man" or perhaps some other TV show. I can't get the idea out of my head that I did hear the song there in either the opening or end credits. Please help me resolve this obsession.

  • Can people's tooth fillings pick up radio stations?

I've always thought this was a farce or urban legend played out only on TV. I would like to know if it's really possible perchance if an individual had both gold and silver fillings.

  • Can someone help me get my Yahoo!Notepad back?

I recently lost my Notepad and by some kind of miracle it returned. Now it is gone again and gives a message of Proxy Error when I try to access it. It won't even go into the general Yahoo.notepad.com link. I don't know if my account has been compromised because the help section said that the IP address may not necessarily be in the state where my computer logging took place. I think it may have to do with the Yahoo server and they aren't sending my Notepad information to the correct place. Yahoo's online technical assistance has been totally useless in resolving this issue. I need help from a computer expert who may have had this same problem and was able to resolve it themselves. Thanks for your help in advance.

  • How do I retrieve my lost Notepad information?

Recently when pasting a joke into my Yahoo! Notepad I discovered that all of my notes and folders had been deleted. I had performed no action to cause this so the fault of this occurrence falls onto Yahoo. I would really like to get this information back if possible because some of it was my poetry and inspirational writing which is valuable to me. I tried Yahoo's customer service to no avail. Thanks in advance if someone can help me.

  • Could the quantum leap in technology be attributed to the use of advanced extraterrestrial technology?

Microprocessor technology in just three years time went from printed circuit boards 36 square inches in area with about 200 components to integrated microcircuitry with the same number of components in a space of 1/8 inch square. Superconductors could possibly be used to counteract the force of gravity and be the means to propel spacecraft to worlds far beyond our own star system. Is it merely human ingenuity or have we been given a helping hand from one or more alien cultures much more advanced than our own? Honest educated answers only please. I might accept a bit of intellectual speculation as well.

  • From what part of the heavens might they come from?

If an alien culture were to visit the Earth or have been visiting what part of the Universe do you think they may come from? I may have asked this before, but would appreciate some additional input to confirm whether or not I have fellow Terralions living here on Earth with me.

  • Is our government lying to us about space capability?

I sincerely believe that this planet has been visited by advanced aliens for many years. Do you think the U.S. Government has been hiding information that could have ultimately propelled us to the stars and beyond long ago? If so why do you think they are keeping this information from us?

  • Could it be possible?

Given certain parameters, as in when one decides they want to see the Grand Canyon on a trip to Phoenix, AZ or to eat pumpkin pie at Grandma's house at Thanksgiving, could one effect time travel in one's mind? As with the trip or eating pie, both have not occurred yet, but the observer is relatively certain these events will occur. This question is meant seriously for hypnotists or practitioners of certain occult arts. If we can project a foreseeable future with a trip to Arizona or Grandma's house then why not something a bit more impractical but still just as possible like seeing which horse is going to win at Churchill or Belmont?

  • Where are the Yahoo! police when you want them?

I've noticed some questions that when I click on them they are shown to have been deleted. Shouldn't the Yahoo! coordinators be able to go through the questions and delete the ones that participants have already deleted themselves so there won't be any "traffic jams"?

  • Are there any opinions about the "sexy" 35,000 year old ivory carving found recently?

I could be wrong about this but after looking at the photographs of this supposed carving it appears to me to be something completely different. I'm thinking that it's simply the tooth of a wooly mammoth and it's being completely misinterpreted. I would like to know some other people's opinion about it. Best argument pro or con gets the 10 points. Come on all you skeptics let's see what you've got. LOL!

  • Does anyone have an idea who may replace Dave Souter?

Many of you have probably noted in the news about Justice Dave Souter's resignation. I personally feel that one of the most outstanding speakers for the causes of the American public and for the rest of the world is Al Gore. How many of you would agree with my vote or do you have a candidate of your own?

  • How powerful is the human brain?

It has been said in psychological and medical journals, humans only use from 1-10% of the brain's intellectual potential. Spiritually speaking, believers assume the entire Universe was created by the spoken word of God. If man is created in God's image (and I know even this is debatable in the realm of artistic imagery), what do you think could happen if humans were to use 100% of the mind's potential creative energy?

  • Can you answer this trivia from the original series STAR TREK?

In the episode "The Devil in the Dark" Spock had mindmelded with the Horta. When the link was broken the Horta wrote something on the rock. What did the Horta write on the rock? Hint: There are still controversies as to what the words were supposed to mean amongst diehard OST fans.
