Okay so I'm going to turn 18 in a little less than 2 months, if I showed them my real I.D. at the door would the bouncer let me in?

How closely do they look at I.D.'s? I mean it says "18 In 2010" so is that all they look at? or do they look at the date too?

... Or just the picture?

I mean I think dressed appropriately, I could pass as an 18 year old. So what do you guys think?

Okay, so I got my first paycheck 2 weeks ago. Immediately I went and set up a checking account and setup the whole "direct deposit" thing with my work.

So it's been two weeks and today I will be getting my paycheck.

I should expect it to go straight into my account right?

And when does the money usually go into my account? when the corporate offices open?

One of my friends said his goes in at midnight, but it's 12:20 here, so idk.

I had unprotected sex with a girl probably approx. 4-5 months ago. She said that she had been tested recently and she hadn't had sex with anyone since then (+ she was on birth control).

Recently I've been getting fevers/flu a lot in the past 2 months. But a lot of other people have been getting sick recently too, so idk if it's me or just stuff going around. But I didn't have the strongest immune system ever to begin with.

The thing is I'm 17, so getting tested is kind of a big deal to me. I know a place where I could have it done and I can get there so that's not a concern though.

1. Should I wait till it's for sure been 6 months to get tested?

2. what are some symptoms I should look for?

3. Got any advice?

So i got a call from Tilly's (a clothing store similar to pacsun or zumiez) to go for an interview later this week. I had just a few basic questions.

1) What kind of questions should I expect from the manager (or whomever is interviewing me)?

2) Is there anything I should bring? Work Permit (Im 17)?

I haven't had a prior job, so I don't really have a resume.

Any suggestions or tips would be greatly appreciated. Even if it's something basic or something that would be common sense, I would appreciate the help.

Like I know this seems obvious, but I have guy friends that I know are completely straight (i.e. my sisters boyfriend) and we always hang out and grab food and see movies. But that's cause we are really good friends and not at all romantically involved.

Everyone thinks I am half black, when in reality I am half Mexican and half Guatemalan.

I think black people are cool and am not trying to offend or disrespect anyone.

It seems like whenever I meet a new person they think I am half black. I am probably overreacting, but it is really annoying. Like I purposely wear sunscreen so I won't get tan and go out of my way to not fit into any steriotypes...

So yesterday (halloween) I was hanging with all my friends and we were in a smallish sedan.

They got like a gram of GDP and packed like three bowls and passed it around to everyone but me cause I don't do s**t like that. They Hot-boxed the car, and I was in there for like 30 min. but I didn't even get high.... not even a little bit.

I have a job interview for a retail store in like 3 days. If it all goes well and i get hired, I'll probably need to do a drug test. Will this show up?

Also, if I do test positive for THC will they (the retail store) call the cops on me?

I can't make up my mind! Do what I love and live frugally. Or do what I enjoy and make more than twice that salary (which will allow me to afford more things outside of work).

When I was about 12-13 I had a huge growth spurt. Which was awesome... but it left me with some stretch marks on my butt... I also (recently) got some on my inner thighs and on the inner part of my knee. They are probably my biggest insecurity. I hate them!

Is only drinking a (fruit) smoothie for breakfast bad?

Usually it has a couple (whole) fruits inside it, along with other healthy stuff. My smoothies typically have around 200-400 calories... I make different smoothies every morning, the lower calories smoothies are for regular days and the higher calorie ones are for when I go surfing.

I do have a snack a couple hours later though.

Is this healthy/safe? Or should I eat more? The reason I do this is because I can drink it on the way to school or the beach.

I've been taking voice lessons for a while, and this is obviosly a question for my vocal teacher, but she happens to be on vacation right now.... so. Here I am.

My problem is that whenever I go into my "falsetto voice" I go up an octave. I can never stay in "my" octave, I always end up going one octave higher. Any tips to staying in "my" octave whilst being in my falsetto voice?
