  • Change ID and Password in iPod?

My friend gave me his old iPod. It is still registered to his ID name and when I add apps I have to put in his password. When I go to a game it often welcomes me and uses his name. How do I change that?

    Thank you in advance.

  • How do I get my dogs to stop barking?

I adopted two dogs who were rescued from a puppy mill. They are each around 8lbs and really sweet dogs. It is just that they bark so much and so often. I don't want them to be annoying to others, and I want them to relax.

What are some ideas for getting them to stop barking that are humane and kind? They bark when people come in the house. They bark at trucks they hear drive by. They bark if neighbors are outside and they can hear them speak. If the door is open and they can see out the screen, they bark at people walking by even if they are across the street.

I have been reading about dogs who were in puppy mills and the information says this is normal for dogs who have gone through the horrors my dogs endured. I have been working with them and they have improved, but I want to help them further.

Any kind words of help and advice would be appreciated.

  • Barking and Crate Training?

We just adopted three puppies that were rescued from a puppy mill. One is about 1 1/2 and the other two were born in July - they are the older ones puppies. They are really good dogs and we love them dearly. However, they are afraid of all other people and of any noises they hear around the house. When they get frightened they bark. They bark A LOT! If anyone comes into the house they bark and growl. We've had people give them treats and such, but they still bark and growl at the person - after taking and enjoying the treats. So far our neighbors have been kind, but I know they will get tired of the barking. They are small dogs with high-pitched barks. How do I get them over their fears and train them not to bark?

Also one puppy makes a mess every night in her crate. I don't want her to be out at night because the mess will be all over the house. But I don't want her in it either. How do I crate train her? Sometimes I will take her out back and she does her business outside then comes in and immediately pees again.

I want them to feel safe and I want them to learn good habits now so things don't get worse.

  • Why do vegans need to research?

Why, when someone first becomes vegetarian or vegan, do meat eaters often say they need to study and research to make sure they get their proper nutrition? Why don't meat eaters need to study and research to make sure THEY are getting what they need - and not too much of things like animal protein which causes cancers and heart disease?
