Any suggestions on what to do at the stop besides what is listed in the cruise brochure? A family of three teens and two adults, what do you think we'd enjoy?

I can see what the cruise ship offers but wondering if there is anything recommended to do - t hree teens, two adults. We aren't afraid to make our own arrangements and when on a previous cruise think we did better arranging our own itinerary at some ports.

Any recommendations of must see/do activities?

I lost a lot of weight - like six clothing sizes - 20 to an 8, friend didn't. I'm sick of her snide negative remarks but still love and support her. I never mention her weight, etc. but have to endure remarks about my clothing, looks, etc.

Everyone else is very positve and supporitive to me. Today she told me I dressed too young, I conveyed that to a couple people and we got a laugh out of it because I was wearing a Chico's outfit which I think is an "older" store - very conservative black outfit.

She is my oldest and dearest friend but how can I help her get over this and maintain our close 20 year friendship.

I know only my Husband knows for sure but his behavior lately has been very passive aggressive and at best clueless.

For example Thursday we talked of scheduling vacation and I let him know that I needed to clear the dates. He put a cruise on 24 hr hold and t hen calls me at work to say he booked it. I just freaked, went to my boss and it is the week he has planned to be out of the office and was depending on me to be there. How can a man who has been a manager for 15 years not think that I would need to clear dates.

My boss was gracious about it but I'm still going in and apologizing to him again. It's a new job and I didn't even have to be given time off, I asked for it when I received the job offer stating nothing firm was booked and I could be flexible on dates. Then my Husband pulls this bonehead move!
