Is a SAR dog (Search and Rescue Dog) allowed in public places?
As a service dog, is a SAR dog (Search and Rescue Dog) allowed in public places? as in, hotels, shopping centers, business, parks, ect.
Socialization is stressed hugely in their training, but I cant find a definitive answer on whether they are legally allowed to accompany their handlers in public facilities.
10 AnswersDogs10 years agoWho do I call to make an appointment with the First Shirt?
I am a civilian, my spouse is enlisted and I need to speak with the First Shirt. Who/where do I call to set up an appointment? I don't even know where the building would be located, let alone an office for a drop in appointment.
5 AnswersMilitary1 decade agoHow do you have the parental rights of a presumed parent terminated in California?
My husband is in starting the process of adopting our six year old daughter. She does not have a legal father.
The biological parent has not been involved with her- ever. He has not seen her, has not contacted her and has not paid one penny of child support over six years. We have never "proved" that the biological parent was related (we didn't have a DNA test, so he is a "presumed" parent according to CA law)
It was my understanding that the only time a presumed parent can sign away rights (without being held responsible for years of unpaid child support) is during a stepparent adoption. But on the paperwork, it asks for "termination" of parental rights.
Does that biological "presumed" parent have parental rights and if so, how do we fill out the paperwork to get his rights removed? We are residents of CA (all parties involved).
Thanks~
ps.can we have a judge revoke the presumed parental rights?
psss. for those who suggest we get legal advice, we cant afford it on our income and base legal was unable to assist because the adoption is taking place in CA but we are stationed out of state.
6 AnswersLaw & Ethics1 decade agoWhat is the name of this movie....?
We went to see a movie- gosh, i would say three to four years ago now, and I cant for the life of me recall the name of it.
A boy is beaten and left in a well/sewage drain of some sort, thought by the thugs to be dead, but he is in some sort of a coma and his soul/spirit is trapped in the inbetween; he is able only to communicate with one girl, who finally decides to help him (somehow) but ends up dying in the end (I think she dies). Please give me the name of this movie if you are a movie buff! Its driving me silently crazy for weeks
Thanks for the effort :)
3 AnswersMovies1 decade agoIn the United States Military, does a service member get a bonus pay for knowing a foreign language? ?
In the USAF, does a service member get a bonus pay for knowing a foreign language even if its not applicable to their current mission? Where is that information? We heard a filghtmate of my husbands was receiving an extra 450.00/month for his proficiency in Russian, but another flightmate only receives 10.00/month for his fluency in Spanish. Where can these pay charts be found?
