I just purchased a new house and we are having the whole electrical system gutted, the electrician is also going to be installing Cat 5 cable. We have FIOS availability in our area. I was wondering if there is any andvantage to having fiber optic throughout the house.

Hi, I am curious with the flight crew for international flights, lets say an australian airliner comes to America, and the flight crew has a layover in america, is there special paperwork for flight crews to stay in america? like a special visa for flight crews? and is there a limit on how long they stay? what laws govern how long cabin crews can stay here?

I am in my early thirties, and suddenly I came to the realization I know very little of anything, so I guess you could say I am ready to learn and understand, don't get me wrong, I am a college graduate, but I want to understand math instead of what I did earlier which was short term memory of math formulas, anyone know of a place that goes a bit deeper into math online.

Specifically, I am coming out of the military and I have an active TS/SCI clearance. As I hear they are hard to come across and tech jobs with them pay pretty good. but I am not tech inclined, so I am wondering what computer language skill, program, is easy to pick up, quick to learn, and is in demand . I am not talking about microsoft suite , like a 6 month to a year long technical school thing.

I know its a strange question and I am new to breeding.

But lets say I get two puppies from two different litters, both the same breed, one male and one female.

so they grow up like they were brother and sister, would they still want to breed with eachother? I have no expierence with dogs and thinking of getting some puppies but also want them to breed later on.

btw out of curiosity would puppies from the same litter breed together?

I was walking the other day and I saw this lady walking her dog, it was medium build with short hair, but I was amazed how purple/gray the dog looked, it took me by surprise, I forgot to ask her the breed, so what breeds have that purple gray color? and are they expensive?

I am curious cause the Celtics are the top seed in the NBA and they have yet to win a road game. Its possible they can win a championship without ever winning a road game. Has this ever been acomplished in the NBA before? or MLB? NHL? the NFL is obviously different.

I got an hp with vista 32 natively installed, my c drive with the window files states its using 70 gigs of my hard drive space. but.... when I open up the c drive and select all the folders they only add up to 35 gigs of space. I am curious where is the other 35 gigs. is it a bakup file somewhere or recovery? I would just like to see this and account for the space because I am a control freak like that.

I have always wondered does anyone know, lets say a team throws a pass and the defender is called for interference but the player catches the ball for the first down. The offensive team declines the pass interference penalty and accepts the result of the play of a first down, but right before they take thier next snap the defensive team challenges the catch and replay shows that the reciever never had possesion and there was in fact no catch. since the offensive team already declined the pass interferance penalty can they now accept the penalty? does anyone know if this is mentioned in the rule book? and can anyone remember this scenario actually happening?

hello, I just recently switched over to the itunes music player.

all my music folders have the album artwork, but they are named in each folder as "folder.jpeg" so I can see them in folder view. I don't want to have to tell itunes that each folder.jpeg is the album artwork, is there anyway itunes can just select the .jpeg in the album folder as the album art?

any help would be appreciated on this.

I got a new hp computer and it came with a portable hard drive, I transfered some files from my old laptop to the portable drive. the problem is now, no computer can detect the usb hard drive, the hard drive is still under warranty. but I don't want to send the hard drive back to hp with my info on it, but if I break it open it won't be under warranty anymore.

when i plug the hard drive in to my laptop and hp, it says usb device not recognize, or has malfunctioned. I can never get access to it, any suggestions would be appreciated.

are there any machines out there that I can buy that can make a digital acrylic match for a colour? I am interested in producing quick exact acrylics for my work in large supplies. any help or direction would be appreciated.

I am a small studio apt dweller so I have my pc, satelite tv reciever, and xbox 360 all connected to my lcd tv by hdmi cables (tv has 2 hdmi ports, thinking of a hdmi switcher). I am currently using the built in speakers of the lcd tv but I want to upgrade to a 2.1 speaker system. so I guess the question is how do I add in speakers to the mix? do I need a receiver? I don't have one.

I guess I am just confused because someone told me hdmi carries both the video and audio.

I was just thinking... right, if an animated cartoon character like Bart Simpson is watching an animated cartoon of Itchy and scratchy, that would look to them as real, because they are a cartoon as well, right? Do you guys get where I am going with this... So in a way, Bart is watching a real cat and a real mouse torture eachother... kind of morbid huh? or am I wrong about this?

OK, I know Spiderman is not a mutant, but in the marvel universe how he got his powers is a secret to almost everyone, so how does anyone know who was actually born with thier powers (mutants) and those that got them by some freak accident (like spiderman). How would the general population know. Obviously with the Fantastic Four they were all astronaughts and came back with superpowers, but how would the general marvel citizen know about the more secretive superheros whether it was a mutation or not. I am also guessing the xmen know because that bald dude can tell a real mutant from not... right or is he dead.

I guess it seems when citizens of the marvel world call for death to the mutants, how come they wouldn't include spiderman, yes he is not a mutant, but they don't know that.

I am thinking of getting a new computer and want to edit high definition video on it and I wondering about graphic cards,

My chief aim is to edit high definition video, but I would also like to hook up a second monitor to the computer as well and thirdly wouldn't mind playing a game or two on it,

the computer I am planning on getting will be a desktop with 4 gigs of ram. how much ram should my graphic card have?

I was curious if anyone knows of an absolute beginner guitar that uses technology in an easy way for beginners to learn, I have seen guitar hero, and I know its a game and has no real relation to playing a real guitar but I would be interested if there is any product that emulates some of the fun and intuitivness of guitar hero with a real guitar.

btw- I am curious because I know there are keyboards that are made for absolute beginners, that light up keys and tempo.

I have a laptop and just within the last year it has been overheating when I only run two simple programs like MS word and listen to mp3s on a media player.

I have already taken the battery out and it runs on the plug. have elevated it so none of the fans or vents are blocked, and use compressed air to clean it out.

I guess I am wondering if there is any componet in the laptop itself that might need replacing, its close to 4 years old, though it was very high end at the time, so its still passable today.

would disney ever remake thier classic moves in Pixar style animation. and what movie would you nominate.

Of course there are some movies that probally look best in classic Disney animation, but I think seeing pinochio updated would look great.
