  • WIndows Vista ?

Has anyone used this? I run a few businesses and for them i need to download, use media packages and do an awful lot of online work not to mention storage for thousands of photo's and a great deal of admin. Is this application ok for the usual microsoft office packages and will it be compatible with my usual broadband provider. Is it more expedient than Windows XP? I realise this is lots of questions, so many thanks if you have the time to answer.

  • Dell? Ordering over the phone....?

I have tried to call Dell several times over the last two weeks to first ask advice and then to place an order, the t.v. commercial makes it look so easy.... nice lady at the end of the phone asking what you use your computer for then puts together a package to meet the chap's requirements. So how come none of then understand me? Not only that i have had real difficulty understanding them. I have still not orderd my computer. Has anyone else experienced similar?

  • Microsoft Outlook?

Brilliant programme i rely on it daily, but is there any way to change the colour of it. It's a bit drab. Agreed it's functional and i am not looking to make it all pretty, would just like to change the overall colour from grey to something else?

  • Has anyone done an intensive driving course?

I have just completed an intensive driving course in Blackpool. Course went really well and i was entered into my test , in fact called a star pupil, i was confident i could pass. My test was over forty miles away at 8.20 in the morning. My instructor chose to go via the M6 motorway to my test centre, so i was unable to get in any driving prior to my test. However there was a fatal on the M6, all lanes closed and i missed my appointment.

I have lost my test and test fee. I have come home and been told i have to pay the fee again but only after paying another £50 for an assesment with another driving school. They will decide whether or not i am ready for my test and if i am i have to pay anther £50 on top of the test fee for their car for my test and some instruction before hand. Can anyone tell me if this is compulsory or if they have had a similar experience. Including both test fee's i will have incurred another £207 on top of the course i paid for. Many thanks.
