So I took a pregnancy test yesterday and got a very very faint positive (too faint to show up on camera). My period isn't due for another 6 days so I just thought its light because I'm not late yet (took the test because of nausea last few days).

Well today I started my "period", it doesn't seem as heavy as my normal period, nor as painful. But it's definitely more than spotting!

What's going on?? Could I be having a chemical pregnancy?

Basically at the moment my favourite name for a boy is Rowan and my favourite name for a girl is Esme. Neither of these names really have any nicknames and that's fine.

But in my own little ideal world I want one boy and two girls. So if I had a second daughter, I like the name Evelyn but love the nickname Evie, I like the name Kiara but like the nickname Kia etc.

So is it weird that only one of my children would have a nickname and the others would be called by their full name? Thoughts please

I'm not pregnant or anything, just collecting names. I used to like names beginning with various letters (lol) but now all my favourite girl names begin with E:

Esme

Elsa

Evelyn

Emmeline

Is that really weird?

I've always hated the idea of siblings having the same letter as they are individuals but I'm just obsessed with E lately, although I don't like any boy names beginning with E.

So basically my question is...what do you think of parents that do this? Weird or not? (not actually considering doing it, just wanted some opinions).

I've always thought it was pronounced Ez-May. But I asked a question what whether people liked this name and a lot of people said Esme is pronounced Es-Mee. And if I want the pronunciation of Ez-May I need to spell it Esmae, Esmay or Esmé. But I don't like these spelling and I think the é would be odd as I'm not French (I'm british).

What do you think?

Someone I went to university with had a little girl and called her Esme. We weren't exactly friends but obviously knew each other as the class sizes were quite small and we both lived in student accommodation on-site. I'm friends with her on Facebook and that's how I know about her little girl.

Now, Esme is my favourite girl name at the moment. I'm not even pregnant yet but want to start my family soon-ish. If I had a daughter and named her Esme; is that stealing??

Thinking of getting a kindle as I go on my holiday in a couple of weeks.

There's the original kindle which has a kind-of grey screen and the new paper-white kindle which is a bit more expensive.

Any one have any experience of which is the easiest to read from?

May be wearing sun-glasses so am I better off getting the white one? I'm just worried about it being too bright and straining my eyes.
