Radio Ministry?
One Sunday morning an old couple was sitting in their rocking chairs, out on their front porch, listening to their favorite radio preacher.
"My friends", the preacher said, "if you have an affliction, if you have an infirmity, and you wish to be healed, just send your $10 faith offering to our ministry, in care of this radio station, and next week during our broadcast I will HEAL YOU!!"
The old man sent in his $10 and waited...
The following Sunday the preacher announced "if you have sent your faith offering, at this time I want you to place your left hand on your radio and your right hand on the afflicted part of your body and I will HEAL YOU!!"
The old man set his left hand on the radio and placed his right hand on his crotch.
The old woman looked over from her knitting ...."Pa", she told him, "the man said he could heal the sick....He never said nothin' about raising the dead"....
