  • Is Six Flags Over Georgia busy on August weekends?

This August I'm taking a trip to Six Flags Over Georgia and thought I'd visit on a weekday, but to my horror I've just found out the park is CLOSED on weekdays! WHAT?!

    - Can anyone tell me why it's closed weekdays?

    - And is it busy on August weekends?

    - Are the schools closed in August?

I'm quite surprised by this - I'm from the UK where August is the busiest time of the year for our parks!

Even a tiny park like Thorpe Park stays open all season without any closed days. I was expecting a much bigger park like Six Flags to be open near enough all year!

Thanks in advance for your help.

  • Cost to fix a small dent in front of car?

So I've got a dent just above one of the wheels. It's about 30cm wide and there is no damage to the paintwork at all. It's not very deep and isn't really that bad.

Out of curiosity I went to the body shop this morning and got a quote for £250 - to be honest I'm shocked at how expensive that is to get a little dent fixed! Is this a fair price to pay? or am I about to be ripped off?

I'm thinking about just leaving it and not bothering trying to fix it.

I realise that this is very veigue and you can't actully see the damage to asses it propperly, but as you can probably tell I know nothing about car repairs so any opinions/experience would be appreciated.

    Thanks

  • How many bears around Loggers Leap at Thorpe Park?

At Thorpe Park, they tell you to count how many bears you can find as you float around the route of the Loggers Leap log flume, but nobody ever says how many there actually are!

I was just wondering if anybody knew, or is it just a sign that someone put up to keep people busy!

  • Which rides at Thorpe Park will be closed in heavy rain?

I have arranged a date to go to Thorpe Park and I was just wondering if they shut any of the rides if the weather gets bad?

I don't care about getting wet, I'm just worried about getting there and everything is shut!

  • My engine coolant bottle has a hole in the top! Will I be ok for the next few days?

I have a small hole in the top of my engine coolant reservoir where the lid meets the bottle but I am due to drive to London tomorow!!!!! I am booked in for a service next week so I will get it replaced as soon as I can.

The liquid is still in the reservoir, but I really don't know anything about how this all works! Will it 'steam up' and escape from the bottle?

Is there a high chance I will overheat on the motorway?

Any help is fantastic. Thanks in advance!

  • I'm thinking of moving to USA from UK to study. What visas and paperwork do I need? Where do I start!?

Hey guys. Thanks for checking out my question.

I have got one year of college left here in the UK and I have been thinking about moving out to the USA for a few years to attend college / university to continue studying IT.

This is just an idea I have got floating around at the moment, but I thought I should start finding out about it all!

I have an auntie who lives and works in Atlanta and I would probably live with her, so accommodation is not a problem.

I am really exited about all the opportunities and I love America! My only problem is that I just have no idea about all the 'immigration rules' and 'visas' and all that stuff!! I know America is red hot on boarder control compared to the UK. Even visiting the US as a visitor is a nightmare!

    My main questions really are...

    - Would I even be allowed to live in Georgia for a few years just to study?

    - How easy is it to 'get in' to the USA as a student?

    - What sort of paperwork do I need to move to the USA?

    - Where do I start!?

    - Do you think it is a good idea? Or should I just stay in the UK?

All answers and opinions are welcome =D

  • What is the passenger / cabin crew ratio?

    Hello! I was wondering...

    - How many passengers are needed for each cabin crew member?

    - Is it like 30 passengers for each crew member?

    - Does it differ from aircraft to aircraft?

    Cheers!

  • Will FSX work on my laptop?

    HI!

This may seem like a stupid question, but I am a stupid person. Here goes...

I baught a new 'bog standard' Dell Inspiron 1525 just as it comes (so I didn't add any techie stuff to it) I've got 111gb memory left on the hard drive.

    - Will Flight Sim X work propperly?

    - If so, will it be really slow and rubbish?

    Cheers folks!
