  • Simple Algebra 1: I really don't understand this question?

    Hey guys,

So I'm doing my homework right now, I know, pretty late but I'm almost done. I understand every problem except this one. Can someone please help me? Thanks! I appreciate it.

Write the expression x^10/ x^2 in simplest form. Then write a different expression that involves division of the exponents that is equivalent to x^10/x^2. Justify your answer.

  • Can someone help me with this problem?

    Hey everyone,

How's your new year going so far?

OK, I need help...on a math problem that I've been trying to solve for the past 30 minutes. I can't seem to understand and all my siblings and parents are busy. It has to do with inequalities, which is one of my toughest questions. This is ONE problem on my homework which I don't seem to really get. I'd really appreciate it if you guys would help me. I know this is the wrong section for me to be asking this question, but no one replies in the mathematics section. Thanks, again for your help!

    1) The following table shows the range of frequencies of sound waves that various animals can hear. Hertz (Hz) is a unit of frequency for sound waves.

    Animal : Frquency Range (Hz)

    human : 64-23,000

    dog : 67-45,000

    chicken : 125-2000

    beluga whale : 100-123,000

    Elephant : 16-12,000

    a) Write the frequencies a human can hear as a compound inequality.

    b) What compound inequality describes the frequency range (r) for a chicken? Graph this inequality.

    c) What compound inequality describes the frequencies that a beluga whale can hear that an elephant cannot hear?

Once again, thanks for your help! I really appreciate it.

  • TEENS: What do you thnk of Britney Spears' new album: Femme Fatale?

I like most of her songs on there. Such as Scary, Seal It With A Kiss, Till The World Ends, Hold It Against Me, etc. I think she's coming back, but I she shouldn't use Autotune that much.

  • TEENS: Do you judge people based on their first impression?

I don't. Well, to be honest it depends on the person for me. If the person's nice and "sweet looking", then yeah. I know to never judge a book by it's cover so I force myself not to judge. It ends up working out in the end.

  • TEENS: Do you think about your future children? (Sorry) xD?

Haha, I was tempted okay? Anyways, my fellow adolescents let's be "parents" for a minute.

Sometimes, when I'm with my mom my family brings up kids. Our kids. We talk on how they're gonna be when they're our age, speak, etc.

So what about you? Do you have names already picked out for them?

    What's your perfect future?

If you'd like to know, mine is living in Virginia or ..Arizona (If I'm in the states). If not ( Sweden, France, Bulgaria, Australia.) with three or four children with my husband. For my career, I'd like to be a business woman or maybe an author. The names I really would like to name them would be hard to pronounce for you guys. So I'm just going to say the names of the kids in my book.

I recently bought the Color Fiend turquoise extensions from Hot Topic yesterday. I was wondering if they would look good on my black hair. I don't have a picture to share, sorry. I'm going to straighten my hair when I put it in though. My hair is naturally wavy/straight.
