I'm currently a Freshman Aerospace Engineering major and I'd like to pursue a minor in something else. I can't decide if I should study something that has practical applications to my major (such as Mathematics or Statistics), or if I should study something much more unrelated (History, anthropology, spanish, etc.), and use it to diversify my educational background.

What minors might be beneficial for me in the future? Any advice or suggestions?

I've been wanting to try some new brands of eyeliner lately so I was wondering what brands you all like. I'd prefer stuff that's not too expensive because I don't want to be stuck with something expensive if I don't like it. Also, I have contacts so if you know of anything out there that's supposed to be good for people with contacts please let me know. Thanks :)

My friend and I are making a video slideshow for all of our friends that we're going to give to them at the end of the year. We already have a good mix of songs, but more would be even better. The people we're giving the videos to are both Juniors and Seniors in high school so we need some sad stuff like "Good Riddance" and some more upbeat songs.

My dad was just telling me about his imaginary friend when he was little. Apparently his name was Buddy and my dad blamed him for everything.

I never had one. Now I kind of feel like I missed out. :(

I'm not really sure what he was up to, but I heard a very loud series of crashes in the other room and a few cat-like screeches.

Long story short his hair is on end, his tail is poofed up to about three times its normal size, and he's cowering wide-eyed in the far corner under my bed. I can tell he's going to be there for quite a while.

So what do you think? Should I start looking for a kitty shrink? ;)

So, guys....my friends and I were polling some of our guy friends earlier and we got mixed reviews.

We were wondering what you like girls to smell like. Fruity? Flowery? Vanilla-y (lol)? We got some wierd responses from our friends...

and for the record I'd just like to say how much I love the way guys smell...old spice and axe make me happy XD

someone asks you a question, but doesn't let you give them an answer? They come up to you, ask you a question, and then proceed to have a conversation with themself. You have to sit there and listen to them as they come up with the craziest answer. Then, when they're happy with their own answer, they walk away and leave you in the dust wondering why you let them waste the last few minutes of your life....

I think it's hillarious when people do this, but also extremely annoying...

Technically everyone has an accent, some are just more obvious than others. I'm from AZ so I guess you could say mine is "neutral American"...

This year I've been having a lot of issues with guys, which is wierd considering I go to an all-girls school. I've met several guys through different activities and it seems like every time I try to be friends with them, they want to be more. This has happened at least 6 times (I'm not exaggerating) in the last six months alone and each time the outcome has been different. I don't really even talk to a couple of them anymore because it's either too awkward or they got mad at me because I didn't return their feelings. In one case, I decided to go out with one of the guys and give the relationship a chance, but he turned out to be a completely different person than I thought he was. I'm glad I got out of that relationship fast because I now realize that it could have easily turned into an abusive relationship (it had already started to in a way). Now it's happening again and I have to talk to a guy after school tomorrow one-on-one...

Anyways, I guess I have a few questions for the guys out there. Why can't guys and girls just be friends without being pressured to "be more"? Is there any way that I can stop this from happening again? I don't want to have to stop being myself, but I'm really sick of this. I'm tired of loosing friendships because a feeling isn't mutual, I'm tired of the awkwardness that results, and I'm tired of the stupid jokes and rumors that go around every time a new guy is interested.

I probably sound crazy and I'm sorry if this makes no sense, but I really just can't deal with this anymore. I can't talk to any of my friends about this because most of them just say, "Whatever. You're so lucky that all these guys like you." So what do you guys think? Any suggestions?
