  • Bradycardia and weight loss?

I have bradycardia and arrhythmia. Heart rate drops into 30s regularly. 1st EKG said skip beat. 2nd said extra beats. Since I don't get dizzy or anything; the cardiologist decided not to treat it. I also have PCOS(the type that causes large corpus luteal cysts). Testosterone is extremely high. Progesterone is practically non-existent. Problem is I want to lose weight an get back to running (used to run regularly 12miles/day and miss it). I cant seem to lose. Is my bradycardia effecting my ability to lose weight? If so, what can I do?

  • Hypoallergenic breed causing worse allergy symptoms than non.?

Hello, I recently acquired a shihpoo puppy. 3 months. Both shih tzu and poodle are considered hypoallergenic breeds. I do have a very mild dog allergy. I've been around all kinds of dogs (collies, poodles, yorkies, cockapoos, st bernards, elk hound, husky, labs . . . .)and never noticed it. (Only know I have it from allergy testing.) Well, this shihpoo puppy is making me Itch like crazy. He does have a funny smell. Any ideas as to why I could be showing signs of being allergic to him when my mom's collie doesn't effect me? Possible parasite or . . .?

    Thanks

  • Negative Ovulation test yesterday--today extremely MOODY?

Hi. Hopefully there is someone out there who been through this and can give me a clue. I'm TTC. I believe I am anovulatory. I spent about 5 months charting basals. My temp was erratic and in only 1 month do I believe I may have ovulated. I am cycling, though I'm not regular. Can be anywhere from 24-43 days long with no rhyme nor reason. My local ob-gyn wanted me to try the ovulation predictor strips before I went further into fertility appt.(Which is annoying b/c I'm positive that there is a problem and they are forcing ME to prove it b4 they will even see me about it!) . . . Anyway . . . So, I am. I've been testing daily since the 11th. I have been getting a consistent negative. No surprise. What I find confounding is that along side these negative test results (And BTW, I'm sure I'm doing it right! I've followed the directions meticulously.) yesterday and today I find myself very libidinous and EXTREMELY IRRITABLE. Like PMS x100. Now this cycle started on the 5th, making today the 13th day of the cycle; so it is conceivable that I would be ovulating around this time; but the tests say no. It's too early for me to take today's test admitedly. However, yesterday's test was so inargueably negative, I find it hard to believe that second line will be dark enough today to give a positive result. Yesterday the 2nd line was so faint it was just a blink away from not existing at all. Any ideas?

  • What do you think of Wal-Mart?

Hello. I live in a small town. We have "Super Wal-Mart" but nothing else. No Target. No K-Mart. No Roses. Etc. . . . Because of the condition of the economy, when she heard that K-Mart was again going to have a Christmas Lay-a-way, my mom thought it possible that Wal-Mart would too. So, yesterday, while at Wal-Mart she asked a customer service rep. about it. The rep VERY RUDELY told her that "if [she] needed a layaway, [she] should go shop at K-Mart". Fine! NO PROBLEM. The nearest K-Mart is an hour away; but you can believe me that they will get MY holiday business before Wal-Mart does.

  • Can you identify this bush for me?

It has tiny female cones about 1/2 inch long and males cones up to 3/4 inch long on the same bush. It has definate leaves--(NOT needles) which it loses in fall. I've lived here 2 years and have never seen it flower or fruit. It's presently about 12 feet tall. It has many off shoots at the base as opposed to a single trunk. We live in Virginia, USA and our yard is clay so it's usually very moist. Any Ideas??????

  • Has anyone tried using Wild Yam to treat PMDD? PLEASE, NEED HELP! !?

I have a HUGE problem. I am about 99% positive that I have PMDD. I have not been diagnosed 4 it as I just came 2 the realization. There is a theory that it stems from a progesterone deficiency. I have a DIAGNOSED Luteal Phase Defect--A severe one. 2 weeks pregnant my level was only 1.4. Naturally, I lost the pregnancy. With the help of hormone therapy, I now have a beautiful 14 mo-old daughter. However, I get EXTREMELY physical the 3 days preceed'n my cycle start date.Tonight (due tomorrow), I accidently held her leg too tight while try'n 2 put her pants on (She was being particularly difficult.). Later, when I noticed the fingertip-sized bruise on her leg, I was terrified & horrified. I intend 2 call my doctor n the morn'n; but am concerned about being taken seriously. (I actually called CPS on myself 3x try'n 2 get help, but they wouldnt even return my calls! Went once. Didnt know what was wrong w/me back then.) Has anyone tried this or heard of any attempts curb PMDD w/ Wild Yam
