  • Feel like I've been Kicked in the Crotch?

I'm 4 months pregnant and woke up feeling sore down there... like I've been kicked or something. Just below the pelvic bone area... almost feels like it's bruised.

Has anyone ever felt this? Is it a normal pregnancy thing? lol

  • Does anyone have the PEG PEREGO 'SKATE' stroller?

If so, do you like it? Is it worth spending the money on?

  • How tacky is this?

I have found my perfect wedding dress which I am completely in love with, and cannot wait to wear! My only concern is that I am short (about 5') and my dress was obviously designed for someone much taller in mind. The bottom of my dress is big and poofy, and also has pretty gathers (neat ones, not the big sloppy ones that look like a cinema curtain lol). Everyone tells me to just hem it and that the people know what they are doing (which I understand and trust), but I dont want my dress hemmed, i will loose half of it lol, and I like my dress how it is! My solution to this, it to wear white stripper shoes! Those big huge platform stilhetto heel shoes. I have tried them on, and they are easy enough to walk in, and my dress will cover them anyways.

We're getting married in a Catholic church, which will require me to kneel for parts of the mass. I am not sure if I will be able to cover my shoes or not. Is this horribly tacky??

  • A nice place for a rehersal dinner in TORONTO?

We are getting married at St. Clare Church on St. Clair Ave. There will be 15-20 people at the dinner. Also, is it appropriate to invite our priest? A restaurant close to the church would be nice, but its not essential.

  • Are you Engaged? How old are you?

I am 23 and my fiance is 25. Last week we started our marriage classes that are mandatory in the Catholic Church. We assumed we would be one of the youngest couples, but not even close. There are 12 couples in our class, and I would say that atLEAST 7 couples are younger than we are! I've noticed that most of my family and friends who are getting married or who are married, did so in their late 20's / early 30's! Just curious...

  • Are monetary wedding showers greedy?

I'm getting married this November, and it is now the time to start registering for gifts for my shower. My fiance and myself already live together, and have for the last 4 years, so we already have everything that a couple may ask for! The only things that we would consider putting on the registry, are things that we WANT, but dont necessarily need, and these items are, in most cases expensive luxuries... which would be the reason we dont already have them. My cousin was in the same situation a few years back, and she decided not to register anywhere, and have a monetary shower (putting the money towards the wedding and/or honeymoon). There was some backlash, and some people talked. This was the only instance that I've even heard of a monetary shower. What are your thoughts?

  • Are you for or against children at a wedding reception?

I'm getting married later this year, and my fiance and myself have made the choice not to invite children to the reception. My parents agree with us 100%, and believe that a late night surrounded by people drinking, is not an appropriate place for children. Also, I would like my friends and family who have children, to be able to have a nice night without having to chase their children around. My soon-to-be mother in law thinks that the idea is insane, and will offend some guests. The reception is also very formal, and costing us alot of money, the childrens meals are $65/plate. I dont see how a child can possibly eat $65 worth of food! It's rediculous! I do not have children, so perhaps I am being ignorant, or insensative.... please let me know that you think!!!
