I bought one for my infant granddaughter at a garage sale (to use as a spare for grandma's car)and my daughter in law says I need to be aware of an "Expiration Date" on the back of the seat. Is this true and how seriously do I need to take this?

I have red white and blue lights on the front of my house and a bunch of flags lining the driveway.....

what is the best company ?? Capital one, wamu, wachovia? someplace else? My past credit history is less than stellar, but now only owe n my home.

At one time I was able to rent a card using my Debit Visa. they put a hold on the account and used it like a credit card. Recently I tried to rent a car in this way and was told that if I wanted to use a debit card, I needed to supply a pay stub, paid utility bill as well as a hold on the debit account. That's an awful lot of info to give out! Hertz will only rent it if they run a credit report on you, as well as pay stub, etc. . It just ticked me off!

As a personal choice , I don't have any credit cards.I got into a hole with credit years ago. Got it all paid off and closed the credit accounts. The only thing I owe on is my home.

When did this change in policy occur?

Spring forward, fall back. It doesn't matter. The time change just messes me up. I'm tired at the wrong time, hungry at the wrong time and just plain cranky all the time. It takes abut 2 weeks for me to get used to it, every time.

So an RIT freshman was able to hack into the iPhone and divorce it from it's network carrier, AT&T. Not illegal,according to the news.

This kid spent 500 hours working on this since the phone was released at the end of June.
