  • Geodon... Good or Bad?

I have been on a new medication for my schzio-affective disorder called Geodon. At first, I was told that I should eat at least 300 to 500 calories at each meal that I was taking the medication. Which is twice a day. That was not too difficult.

Then after a recent hospitalization, I was told I needed to eat at least 20grams of Fat at when I take the medication which is still twice a day. This would be fine and dandy except for the fact the I am already morbidly obese.

I do need anyone to preach about how I should lose weight, I get enough of that from my family. I am well aware that I need to lose weight but how can I when I have to eat so many fat grams per day.

Does anyone know of a way around the calorie or fat gram consumption to still have the medication be effective?

I must have the medication because when I miss just one dose, I start having withdrawals and my mental health goes downhill quickly. I want to say that someday magically my mental health issues will just go away and I wont need this medication, but that is not going to happen.

  • Need a lawyer or law professor's assistance?

What is the legal term for Opportunity to litigate? I recently went to Family court to petition for custody of my children as a pro se litigant. I was told by the judge that my petition was denied because I missed the opportunity to litigate when I had previously been at the courthouse for a Child Support hearing shortly after I filed my petition and before my final trial date? The judge kept using a legal term and then finally told me what it meant but also said that if I was a lawyer I would of know this and would not have wasted the court's time.
