  • Photoshop CC Actions To Apply Adjustments Question?

I'm working to create some actions to help with some processes that I need to perform over a large amount of images. Specifically, I'm looking to create some actions that make curve adjustments, HDR toning adjustments, etc. When I record the script I go through step by step of all the adjustments I make and then save the action. Unfortunately, it only saves the task, not the actual specific adjustments. So, in other words, if I have a photo and then start recording an action then select:

    Adjustments>HDR Toning

Then make some setting adjustments to the Radius, Strength, Gamma, Exposure, etc., and then click "OK" and stop the action, it only remembers that I opened the HDR Toning but doesn't remember any of the settings I changed. Is there a way to tell Photoshop to actually record the specific adjustments I'm making while it's recording? Thanks!

  • Thumbtack.com : How do I get in a faster bid than anyone else?

I've been using Thumbtack.com for a while now with mixed results but as more and more vendors are jumping on the bandwagon I've noticed that literally seconds after I get the email notification from Thumbtack that a potential client would like a bid I go to send a quote and am told that already 5 vendors have done so before me? How do these people get on to the site and write an email so quickly???? Are they just firing in a quick bid and then following up with a secondary email after that just to lock up their position? I've even tried getting the txt-based notifications and they come to me at the same time the emails do so it's not like that's any faster. I'm just curious how people are able to get in their bids so darn fast???

  • What is the best image resolution for twitter?

I'm looking to create some meme images for my twitter page and when I post them at 250 X 250 pixels they get cut off half way down. I see other images people post on twitter that look larger but they display in full size so I figured there has to be something I'm doing wrong. What is the best image resolution to post in a tweet so others can see the entire image?

  • What is the best type of poker buy-in for a home poker game?

I have a small game room and do "poker nights" every once in a while for 6-10 guests. We usually plan on doing two Texas Holdem tournaments for cheap buy-ins ($10/game) just to keep it fun as most of the guests are not real poker players at all. It's more of a social gathering than anything. Even with the blinds moving rather quickly, after the first game not everyone wants to play a whole other second game so the game starts to collapse when people need to start leaving but others feel like staying.

So rather than doing a tournament style game I was thinking on doing just a standard buy-in where you exchange cash for chips and cash out when you leave so maybe make the minimum bet $.05 or $.25...something like that, with a $10 minimum buy. How easy are these games to manage vs. doing it tournament style? Which do you think is better given my circumstances?

  • How do I access my own Facebook Fan Page?

I have been on facebook for many months and just now created a Fan Page. I picked the category, created a name, and built the page. I was then asked to link the page to my Twitter account, which I did, and then I was just left hanging. How do I find my own Facebook Fan Page so I can edit it, promote it, etc.? I can't seem to find any links to it anywhere in my profile. I'm really confused. Please help!

  • Where can I find a REAL deal on Disneyland 3-day park hopper passes?

I want to plan a vacation for my wife and I to Disneyland on January 1-3. I've done a lot of research on hotels and Disneyland 3-day hopper passes but am shocked to find that there are no real deals out there. I've done tons of searches online for packages but on virtually every single website I go to their "discount" prices are identical, if not HIGHER than what I can get just booking on the hotel website and disneyland.com. I even contacted themagicforless.com, which is a supposed travel agent specializing in Disney packages and they were $300 MORE than just me spending 15 minutes doing it myself. It's really frustrating.

Anyway, we will be driving in from Las Vegas so we are not California residents, aren't in the military, don't belong to AAA, etc. I did look on eBay but all the passes there are really hokey where you have to rent the tickets and jump through a bunch of weird hoops which we don't feel safe with plus it's an extra hassle. We just want to find a place who can actually get us a deal on a 3 day hopper with hotel within walking distance of the park, first choice being the Camelot Inn across the street. Booking it on our own right through the Disney site and hotel site, the rates are $184 per ticket for Disney and $250 (including fees and taxes) for the two nights at the hotel so please respond if you know of a website or travel agent that can really beat that. Thanks!
