I don't want a judgement on this name at all, we are naming our daughter Emme after a little girl we knew, and it's a special name to us. However I am considering giving her Emmeline as a full name and just calling her Emme all the time. So please can we have middle name suggestions for both?

Also how would you pronounce Emmeline? I pronounce it "em eh leen".

I love the name Emme but I made a post about it and everyone's judging me as it is "too childish and "doesn't age well" which maybe true but if you think about it in the future the "grown ups" will have modern names, and Emme is a modern name. I like Emme on its own (two syllables pronounced like Emmy). But we did however wonder if we should give her a full name (we quite like Emilia but we still prefer Emme). But my question is I'm in love with this name, do you think my child would hate it if I just called her Emme or should I give her another name too? And if I were to give her another name could I use her nickname (Emme of course) as the name I call her all the time? What do you think I don't know what to do! She's due in August!!

I know it's a nickname for a name but not overly fond of Francesca. I met a young girl when I was at the hospital with my oldest daughter, and she had cancer. She was so sweet and positive it made me really like the name.

Emilia - only issue with this name is people will think its Amelia or is pronounced like Emilia.
