  • Is there a Keurig with an automatic timer so you can program it to make coffee at the same time everyday?

I need help getting out of bed in the morning and I think the aroma of coffee will help with this process. I understand I probably need to insert the k-cup the night before but can I program it to brew go off at a certain time?

  • Looking for a watch that tracks miles run and calories burned?

I am training for my third 1/2 marathon and looking for a wear on my runs. I currently use RunKeeper to track my mileage. I like it because I can see the history of my runs, miles, calories burned and even the route I ran. So I am looking for something that I can sync and/or download to see my runs on a computer.

Also, I do cardio such as Zumba and Spinning. So I am hoping this watch will also be able to help me track calories burned.

    Any recommendations?

    Thanks!

  • How can I resync my iPhone to a different Mac laptop?

I recently purchased a used Mac from a friend and it has her iTunes still up. I hooked up my iPhone to the laptop to sync my phone to iTunes. However, the two didn't sync up. I want to clear out her old music with the music from my iPhone. Is this possible? And could you instruct me on the steps to syncing my phone to the Mac/iTunes?

    Thank you.

  • How can I get an iPad donated?

    Hello everyone,

I am currently trying to raise over $3000 for cancer research. I am doing this to honor a family member who recently passed away after having breast, lung and brain cancer. I am halfway to my goal and have a little over a month to go. I have an idea to raffle off an iPad and asking people to make a small donation and I will enter their name in the drawing for the iPad. The problem is I do not have the money to actually go out and buy an iPad myself. So I was wondering if anyone might have any insight or tips into how to go about getting one donated. Should I visit an Apple store and talk to the manager? Should I talk to someone who works at Apple? Does Apple even do things like this? I mean, they are a billion dollar industry and I assume asking for $500 for charity should be within their ability. So if you have any advice on what I need to do, I would really appreciate it. Thank you!

  • How do I tell my current boss I'm looking for a new job?

I earned my master's degree a few years ago and did so while working full-time. I have been in my current position for over 5 years and I don't really feel like I have the opportunity to use my degree. My position is very entry-level and I'm ready to move on into managing or directing. While I am thankful that I have a job, I am extremely bored and unhappy in my current job. I have been job hunting for over a year and haven't really been able to secure something. One thing that I've been told is holding me back is that I have not listed my current supervisor as a reference. I know that I work hard and I am very good at what I do. But my current supervisor is not a big fan of change and I don't know how she will react if I told her I am looking for something else. At this point, I know that I need to list her. What do you think I should say? How should I approach this? (FYI - please don't suggest that I ask my boss to take on new responsibilities in the office. I have already asked and there isn't any opportunity to do that.) What I need to figure out is how to tell her I am job hunting and if I can use her as a reference. Thank you!

  • How to cover something up in a photo using Photoshop?

I took this really great photo and I didn't notice it at the time but someone's arm is sticking into the image. It's really distracting and I want to cover it up. The arm is over a concrete bench and it can easily be hidden. I think someone once told me I can "copy" something on an image and then paste it over whatever I want to cover up. I have Photoshop at work and I never use it. I would appreciate some detailed steps on how I can do this (FYI - I know very little about PS so please be specific). Thank you.

  • How can I work in Europe if I am an American?

I heard about a short-term job opportunity that I am interested in pursuing. I am an American citizenship and I need to figure out what the process is (what paper work needs to be done) in order for me to work in Europe (the job is in Spain). Is it long and difficult? Any help would be appreciated.

  • Best movies set in London?

Last year I took a trip to Barcelona and before I left I watched "Vicky Cristina Barcelona" and when I arrived I was so excited to see things I had seen on screen right in front of me.

Now I have a trip to London (it's my first visit!) and I want to have the same experience. I am looking for movies to watch and get me excited about my trip. I would appreciate recommendations for movies to watch that are HIGHLY set/based/centered around London that will give me some great sights of the city. I already have the recommendation to see "Notting Hill" (which I have seen before).

    Suggestions?

  • Best purse for traveling in Europe?

I'm going to France and England in the fall and need a good purse for the trip. I have a purse that I used for my last trip but I want something that I can use over my shoulder and keep my hands free. Here's what I'm looking for. A purse with shoulder strap that I can wear across the body and lay flat. I'm hoping to use it as a carry-on for the plane and take it with me when I am out sightseeing. I need something large enough I can put a travel book in, camera and wallet. I want something that is sort of fashionable and doesn't scream "tourist". Something that is fairly light weight. Maybe even something a bit chic. Any ideas or recommendations?

  • Bus trip from London to Oxford?

I'm visiting London with a friend and we plan to do a side trip to Oxford for the day. I was told I could take a coach bus from Victoria Station and it will be about 13 pounds roundtrip. However I can't find a website where I can book tickets on the bus and see a schedule of departing times. Can someone direct me in the right direction of where I can look this up?

    Thank you.

  • Flat rate for the tube in London?

My question is about the tube in London. I'm taking my first trip there this September and doing some preliminary planning. I wanted to know if it is possible to get an unlimited day pass or weekly pass where you can ride it for a flat rate rather than paying per ride. For example, I visit NYC frequently and I usually buy a Metro weekly unlimited pass which is around $29. This was cheaper than paying for single rides and I was had unlimited rides. Does the tube in London have a similar option? Daily or weekly? And if so, what is the price? (You can give me the cost in pounds.)

  • What is Your Greatest Weakness? Typical job interview question?

I have a job interview coming up and I'm already preparing myself for the question that I always get and do not like. I was just curious how to respond to "What is Your Greatest Weakness?" The problem with this question is you need to make your weakness sound like a strength. In the past, I've said that usually have a difficult time saying no when a colleague asks me for help (sounds cheesy but it's true). In turn that may take some of the focus off of the work and tasks that I am responsible for. A friend told me to not give that answer anymore. I'm looking for ideas. I have weaknesses but I just want help in how to communicate them without making myself look bad.

  • What's the problem with my 2005 Chevy Cobalt?

My 2005 Cobalt is just at 81,000 miles and I bought it brand new. This morning a light on the panel came on and it was a lit up TC with a slash through it. The check engine light was also on. A message popped up that said "Power Steering Control." When I tried to drive, I could barely turn the wheel an inch. I no longer have a warranty on the car and I am paying for this myself. I would like to own if anyone has had an issue like this and wanted to get an idea of how much it will be to repair it. It didn't have to be exact. Just a rough estimate.

  • Can I take my dog if I move abroad?

I work for a study abroad program and several opportunities have come my way that I am highly interested in. The jobs are located in Europe (more specifically in Barcelona, London and Rome). I would love the opportunity to live and work in Europe but I have a pet Yorkie that I am very attached to. Does anyone know where I should look to find out if I can take him with me if I decide to move abroad? I haven't even applied for any of the jobs yet and before I do so I need to find out what the process is for me to take him with me. If I can't take him, I'm not going to apply. He's in great health, up to date on his shots, see a vet regularly and is neutered so I don't see any reason why I wouldn't be allowed.

    Thank you.

  • What's an alternative to the iPad?

I like the iPad because I'm mainly using my old laptop for downloading songs and pictures but I'm ready to purchase something new. I really want an iPad because I no longer use my computer for writing papers (I just finished my degree so no more schoo!) However my only complaint about the iPad is that it does not have a video camera and I like to Skype. I like the new computer tablets that are coming out and I heard there was a tech conference in Vegas where a few were recently showcased. I want to get a new tablet that's small like an iPad but with a video camera. Are they are up and coming or products being sold that you can recommend?

  • Why would eHarmony delete a profile?

I joined eHarmony a few months ago and I was matched with a guy who contacted me. We spent several weeks chatting online and on the phone. I dated him for about 2 months and we went on quite a few dates. On our last date, he did something that I thought was very inappropriate and I told him I didn't want to see him anymore. I closed our match and haven't spoken with him since. This was about a month ago.

I received an email from eHarmony yesterday which said they had terminated his account in "accordance with our terms and conditions." (In short, THEY deleted it, NOT HIM). However due to their privacy policy, they do not tell me the specific reason for his removal. Why would they delete him? I looked up something online but I didn't find much. I only read something from a person who works for eHarmony who said they only contact you that a profile has been deleted if you have had communication with the person (they don't contact all their matches). I'm only worried because this guy knows where I live, where I work and he knows my first and last name. I dated for for about 2 months and the inappropriate thing he did is why I am concerned. I'm always very cautious about online dating and he didn't even know where I lived until our last date.

Has this ever happened to anyone? I would appreciate any help or stories you've heard where this has happened.

    Thank you.
