My boyfriend and I have been together for two years or so and have been talking marriage. But he thinks that everything about our married life is to go his way. We have different religious belifs (he is Christian and I study Buddhism). H eexpects that we will raise our children christian, which I do not agree with. He also wants me to convert and be a part of his church. Every aspect of my life he makes the decissions on. I am not sure what I want to go into for my career, and am in school exploring my options. Whenever I say a career path I want to go into or try out he shoots it down and tells me I can do better or that he does not approve of it. And that's that. What should I do? He is very stubborn and will not listen to me. I am not raising my children in something that is a lie to me. And I don't know how to come to a compromise with him because he won't listen to my side of anything.
