Why is it such a HUGE taboo here in India. I do not get it, if I love someone than nationality/ caste should not matter. I don't but I just wonder. We are such spiritual country, ardent believers in GOD then we should believe that all men are equal as said in Bhagwad Gita. all that should matter is the person, not his color/religion. We think that in west there are more divorces or infidelity comes easy to them. Well, situations are not very bright in India too. Almost everyone around me lives a hypocrite life where they are bound to be with each other even if they both are suffocating, just because our society doesn't allow them to be happy and free. Why is it that in India we cant have what we want? be it a Hindu Muslim wedding, a low class high class wedding or worse in villages, the love marriage?...why do we so many Taboos around us. Cant we be just happy and let everybody live their own life?
