  • Help with teething! Is this normal?

My son started what I thought was teething around 3 months. He drooled a lot. Started waking at least once during the night and seemed a little more crankier than normal. It just progressively got worse with the sleep pattern and at 6.5 months his 2 bottom teeth finally came through but now, almost a month later he is as miserable as I've ever seen him. Sometimes he wakes up every hour at night and demands to have a bottle. If I delay giving it to him he screams bloody murder like he's in pain and he starts doing this thing where he goes "blub blub blub" by moving his lips with his hand. Do you know what I mean? It's a cute things you teach kids to do but he's started doing it when he's angry. I don't know if he's trying to signal his teeth hurt or what. He has also started grunting all the time and arching his back in protest of almost everything! He does smile and laugh but it seems it's becoming less frequent as the days go by!

I am almost at my wits end. My husband is only home on the weekends so I need to be able to sleep during the week at some point in time. Was teething this hard for everyones child or does it seem like maybe my son is acting spoiled?

Can you tell me your worst teething moments?
