  • Should I pick up Gary Neal, now that Ginobli is out for a while?

    Here is my team:

Kyrie Irving (Cle - PG) ...rookie that continues to improve and get more minutes

Paul George (Ind - SG,SF) ...nice sleeper pick

Kevin Durant (OKC - SF) ...team is in a mini-slump...but he's still the man

Rudy Gay (Mem - SF,PF) ...scoring seems to now be coming around

Andrew Bynum (LAL - C) ...a beast's beast...I'm inclined to avoid trading him and take a chance on his knees

Jeff Teague (Atl - PG,SG) ...sleeper pick...actually got him off waivers

Jamal Crawford (Por - PG,SG) ...will have some slow nights...but he's instant offense off the bench

Caron Butler (LAC - SG,SF) ...seems to be heating up...he dominated Gerald Wallace the other night...is an injury risk...do you think he'll last the whole season without a major injury?

Marvin Williams (Atl - SF) ...lot of options in Atlanta...but he had back surgery in the offseason...I am inclined to ride him out this week...he has one game in...four more left...see if he is for real this season

Gerald Wallace (Por - SF,PF) ...other than his goose egg going up against Butler...he has been fairly steady

Greg Monroe (Det - C) will continue to improve...good value here

Marcin Gortat (Pho - C) ...both he and I can't wait until he get's that brace off his hand

All I need is for Monroe to get a nod as both a PF and C...it's limiting playing with three true Centers.

I know Marvin Williams is a risk in terms of whether he can keep playing at a high level...but I believe the Hawks will be trying to do more with him going forward.

I could drop Jamal Crawford...as he's not a starter and will be losing points to Nicolas Batum at times...I just think Gary Neal might be in line for more during Ginobli's absence and he will continue to get minutes once Ginobli's back.

Any thoughts? All feedback is appreciated. What do you think of my team?

  • Who wins in this deal?

Team 1 gets Tim Tebow, Dez Bryant

Team 2 gets Drew Brees, Brandon Lloyd

Please give reasons to back up your opinion.

  • What do you think of this trade? Tim Tebow and Dez Bryant for Drew Brees and Brandon Lloyd?

10-team, non-PPR standard league; only about 6-8 teams are active...some more active than others.

    My team:

QB: Tim Tebow, Matt Ryan, Carson Palmer (I just dropped Kendall Hunter to get Palmer)

RB: Matt Forte, Ahmad Bradshaw, Daniel Thomas, Cedric Benson

WR: Roddy White, Dez Bryant, Marques Colston, A.J. Green, Percy Harvin

    TE: Brandon Pettigrew

K: Dan Bailey (dropped Akers to pick him up for the bye week)

    DST: Detroit Lions

On paper one you would think this is a no brainer...likely so.

I am tentative because I believe Tebow has the potential to out-perform Brees...though with Brees I will get consistency... I believe Lloyd has high risk/reward...and Dez is having a good season...is coming back to 100%...I think the other guy wants Tebow big-time... I still have to deal with Brees' bye week...

I might make a counter-offer to dump Ryan and Tebow...and try to get more out of the trade...do you think I should it is OK that I'm hesitating here? Your thoughts?

    The other guy has:

QB: Brees, Fitzpatrick (he previously offered Fitz for Tebow in a 1-for-1 deal but I rejected it)

RB: Adrian Peterson, Ben. Green-Ellis, McGahee, Ingram

WR: Lloyd, Decker, J. Nelson, B. Edwards, J. Gaffney

TE: Gates (He just dumpped S. Chandler for B. Edwards)

    K: Janikowski

    DST: Cowboys, Bills

I lost Jamaal Charles, who was under-performing but I obviously used a high pick on him...I had an 0-3 start...now I'm 2-4 with momentum

I think he really wants Tebow...Brees is consistent...he does have the occasional off week...I just think I'm in position to do will...I have some stability in my roster...except at QB...but with Tebow, Ryan, and Palmer I have a chance to get some production there... I think that Brandon Lloyd could bust...Bradford has a bad ankle..it will take Lloyd some time to get used to things...even with Josh McDaniels as the Rams' off coordinator...I just think the Rams are too banged up on defense to allow their offense to flourish...and they are banged up on offense too.

Please don't just answer with: make the trade now! I'm comfortable waiting because the guy is after Tebow...I can live with my QB situation...Dez has played through injury and should be at 100% now...roddy white has struggled but he's still Roddy White...I think that I should gain some stability at QB soon...whereas I am taking a risk by losing a consistent WR in Bryant for one that has some potential to struggle...I just think Lloyd is not as talented as some people might think...I will likely counter by offering up Tebow, Harvin, and/or Green...A.J. Green is doing awesome...but he'll be as consistent as Andy Dalton is...I believe that Tim Tebow may be undervalued...your thoughts?

  • Would you start Cedric Benson or A.J. Green for flex spot in week 6? (non PPR league)?

I think Benson and Green will both have big games vs. the Colts this week. I was leaning toward Benson but now think Benson will lose some touches to Bernard Scott where Green will get his regular number of looks if not more.

What do you think and why?

  • Something rotten? What do you think of getting Arian Foster for Chad Ochostinko?

I'm in a fantasy football league where I don't know anyone, through nfl.com. There are no reviews of trades. Someone just got Arian Foster for Chad Ochocinqo. One player called "foul" and I echoed that sentiment.

This is how the person who got Arian Foster defended the trade:

"We all know Tom and Ocho will be hooking up for 125yds and 3 td's a game soon enough and Foster is a gamble every week with his health. If you want to take a chance on Foster you can have him for his back up Tate and Fitzgerald. Dooo it Dooo it!!"

He had insinuated that the trade made by the first person to call "foul" was not fair either:

"pockets getting a light after you tradded away used mouth gaurds and a bag of hmmm to get Roddy White and Chris Johnson...."

    This was the trade:

BLANK traded Roddy White WR - ATL , Chris Johnson RB - TEN to

BLANK for Jahvid Best RB - DET , Hakeem Nicks WR - NYG , Brandon Jacobs RB - NYG

To me this trade is fair. The one noted above is not.

  • Should I trade Julio Jones for Ryan Mathews?

Michael Vick, Matthew Stafford - QBs

(I am thinking about trading Michael Vick and running with Stafford and a backup, once Vick is at 100% and performing)

Michael Turner, LeGarrette Blount, Reggie Bush, Beanie Wells - RB

Greg Jennings, Dez Bryant, Julio Jones, Jordy Nelson, Dexter McCluster, Sidney Rice - WR

    Antonio Gates - TE

    Stephen Gostowski - K

    San Diego Chargers - Def

    10 team standard non-PPR league, 4 pts for passing TD, 1 QB, 2 RB, 2 WR, 1 W/R (Flex), 1 TE, 1 Kicker

Wells is game-time decision, Gates is Questionable, Bryant might/might not play but is not 100%.

Personally I think I should wait and trade Vick and others for a top RB. I think that both Julio Jones and Ryan Mathews will see their values increase. Your thoughts?
