Our almost 18 month old boy still sleeps in his camp cot. We were thinking of changing him over to his bed when he is about 2 years old, but he still sleeps very restlessly so we aren't sure if it is a good idea. He sleeps right through the night, from 8:30pm to 7am.....

At what age did your little one start sleeping in a bed and how did the first few nights go?

My 16 month old baby boy has been grinding his teeth often. What should I do about this? Besides the terrible noise it makes, its surely bad for his little teeth? I reprimand him for doing this, but I don't want it to be like I am moaning at him for nothing.......What do you suggest?

He has just turned one and his legs bend outwards terribly. This is because he started walking when he was just 8 months old. It was obviously too much weight for his little legs to handle. We are seeing the Dr next week, but despite what the Dr says, I would like to know what you think. Do you think he will grow out of it?

Just wondering when your little one's first tooth came out, how old were they? The reason I'm asking is coz my boy will be 9 months tomorrow but has shown no signs of teething....should I be worried?

I don't know what it is, but my 9 month old doesnt sleep well anymore. He cries and moves around. When he does this sometimes he is asleep sometimes he is awake. It's not teething. There are no other teething symptoms. However he has not cut his first tooth yet, but he can walk. Could he be having bad dreams? If so, why so many? It's every night since about 2 weeks ago.

Pls advise moms....I don't know what to do anymore. He used to sleep through...

My boy is 8 and a half months and started walking two weeks ago. People are so shocked at this.....So I was wondering at what age did your children start walking?

My friend was three months pregnant and went for her first ultrasound the other day. As the doctor showed them the baby alive, healthy and well on the screen the next minute he went into panick saying the heart has just suddenly stopped and the baby was dead. Just like that, all of a sudden.

Has this happened before? Is it just a coincedence or something that should be looked into further?

Since he was 6 weeks old my son has slept through the night. He is now almost 6 months old....His dad left to go work far away for 3 weeks ( heleft on the 5th) and since then Tyler has had the worst nights ever. He wakes up atleast once every two hours and is so miserable. Could this be because his dad is not around?His dad sends a picture of himself everyday and I send a picture of Tyler and everynight I call him and put the phone on loudspeaker. Tyler hears his dad's voice and is confused when he looks around the room and can't see his dad and can't see where the voice is coming from. It's saddens me....

Is his fathers absense the reason for his sudden dissrupted sleeping patterns?

Hi there, I have a nearly six month old son and I have not had a period since he was born. Is this normal? Before being discharged from the hospital I was given an injection (Birth control - 3 month injection). Does this have something to do with it?

Hi all, I have a 3 month old son who hates drinking water, of course cosz it doesnt taste nice! He needs water coz im not breastfeeding anymore, he is on formula. I take the bottle out when he drinking milk and quickly replace it with a bottle of water, but as soon as he realises he starts swallowing winds! Is there anything I can put in the water to make it taste better, but something that won't harm him or make him sick or hyper or anything like that. All suggestions welcome!!!

For mothers, don't you think it is amazing how much love and affection one can feel for thier new baby? Especially if it is your first child. There are no words to explain how much I love my 8 week old son. All the things you go through during pregnancy and even when they are born, all the troubles, sleepless nights, and irritations as some would call it, its all worth it just to watch your child grow up. Having children is a gift and that's why it infuriates me to read about babies being found in bins, being raped and murdered. How can people do things like that? Doesnt it make you feel sick?

How many weeks pregnant were you when your little one entered the world? Was it close to your due date or far away? I am 30 weeks pregnant and just curious. It also doesnt feel like my lil' guy is going to wait until September the 24th.... but we'll see :)

I am 11 weeks now and have little white dots (not noticeable unless up close) on my face. I was using normal shower gel to shower and wash my face with before I was pregnant and that was fine. Now people are giving me all different advice saying I musnt wash my face with that anymore, but I must wash with cream, like moisturizer. This is probably why my skin is like it is now....also, can I still use shower gel to wash my body with? I have heard that it is not good to use when bathing coz it can go inside of you, but can I rather use it in the shower then?

Please help me if you have any advice or share your skin stories...lol

Some poeple that have been pregnant before tend to give you a lot of advice but not bearing in mind that every pregnancy is different!

I am 18 years old and I just found out about a week ago that I am pregnant. My boyfriend, 28, is happy too. We have been together for 3 years and have been living together ( with my mom) all of that time. Except we moved into our own place 7 months ago. My mom is happy with the news, she is excited. But my dad is kind of the opposite. My mom took him out to a restaurant to tell him (they have been divorced for 11 years). He was shocked and later suggested to her that I have an abortion. I would never do this. He now wants to take me out tomorrow to "talk". Is he wrong in saying I should have an abortion? Was his reaction just that of a typical father?I am really upset by what he said as he always said i'd make a good mother and stuff. My mom said I musnt let it worry me, because he is just like that, but I am really hurt that he would even suggest that. So is that just something a father will do when he is shicked or upset? Did this happen to you or was your father happy?

Im 18, live with my boyfriend, his sister and her 2 kids. My uncle and I are very close and he lives/lived around the corner from us. he is a recovered alcoholic and has gone through alot in his life. has 3 kids that wanted nothing to do with him, been to 9 different rehabs, had liver failure, but after all this, he finally gave up drinking 2 years ago.

He has just recently started drinking again, i am so upset. he has come so far and to just give it all up for alcohol? has has also become like a father to my boyfriends nephews as they used to spend every weekend with him. my uncle was kicked out of his house 2 days ago because he is no longer paying his rent. he went to my moms house today but got kicked out for stealing from them and peeing in the beds. then he came here. it is freezing cold outside and we had to turn him away. we cant let the kids see him like this, they look up to him....

My boyfriend draws lovely pictures but cannot get anywhere with selling them. He has also started to draw pics of famous people like Nelson Mandela, etc. You can also have your own picture drawn if you can provide a photograph.
