  • Is there a form you can submit that will allow you to receive all of your financial aid?

    Im in California going to community college. Last year 2009 I filed as independent on my taxes. I know I must use my parents income until I am 25 regardless of if I file independent. But since I've been living on my own I could really use the extra money. On my fafsa it says my EFC is 1400, this is because of my parents income. Is there something I can submit that will allow me to receive the entire amount instead of the reducing it $1,400?
