Hey guys, I just purchased an ASUS ROG G751 JT gaming laptop, and I want to connect it to a 34" ultrawide 1440p monitor that has displayport. (I don't want to use hdmi because it only supports 30hz). My laptop has a thunderbolt connection so I thought I might be able to buy an adapter. Is this possible? Cheers

Hi everyone! I would really like to live in Ireland on a working Visa (at least as a start) to find work anywhere, and just be part of a new culture. I currently live in New Zealand, and need a change from University (I dropped out..the horror!). I'm planning to save a decent amount first for a year or so, but I was wondering if there was anyone that could give me some feedback on how they found living in Ireland, because it seems awesome! Like in the Wolverine, Hugh Jackman has a very lean, sharp, aggressive physique that really puts the whole 'bigger is better' debate to shame. I bet if he was even bigger but had a body fat percentage that was a bit higher, he would look nowhere near as 'edgy' as he does. Take this photo for example.

Marky Mark looks nowhere near as powerful as Hugh, even though he is jacked up. Why is this? Is it his stupidly perfect abs or more narrow shoulders or what? I'm wondering how I can adapt my fairly conventional 4 day split workout to look less like Marky Mark and more like Hugh?

I know that the 8970 is obviously better than the 770,l which is obviously better than the 765, but are the better cards worth the price difference? I'm planning on building a custom clevo laptop, with an i7 4700MQ as the cpu and either 8GB or 16GB of ram. I already have a desktop but I want to get a laptop for college to game on, and I want it to last me throughout college. 765m is alot cheaper in Australia, and the 8970m is only $30-$50 more than the 770m.

I want to know if the SteelSeries Apex Raw is a good quality, good performing keyboard for gaming? I play strategy games like the Total War franchise, as well as the odd rpg, but mostly actions like Battlefield. I do NOT play MMOs. I am currently using a super budget logitech $15 piece of crap and need a serious upgrade. Thanks

I know that these are the 3 biggest muscle building compound lifts. Many people consider deadlift to be one of the most important. Hodgetwins call deadlifts 'back-snaps'. I personally do squats and bench rather than deadlift, but do you think I should be doing all three? If you do/don't do deadlifts/squats/bench, I'd be interested to know. Cheers.

My 8 GB of DDR3 Corsair XMS 3 memory has a speed of 2000Mhz, but when the results from the 3DMark test show, they say they are running at "533 MHz". Anyone have this issue?

Hi, I'm a 17 year old male in New Zealand, and am planning to eventually join the police (most likely in Australia as I am a citizen), although my History teacher (and ex Officer) advised me to stay away from the Police until I'm in my early 20's for life experience and maturity etc. This gives me a few years to kill, which I want to use wisely for the purposes of reaching my goal as a Police Officer. My parents want me to go to university, but I want to join the Airforce. The reason behind this is that there is no university course that leads into the Police, but experience in the Military would give me discipline that would be useful in the police. Can anyone advise me on which path to take? Thanks a bunch.

Now, like most red blooded males, I enjoy my fill of Action movies and Thrillers, as well as the occasional Horror. But how normal is it for a guy to like chick flicks? I don't mean that I thrive on those kinds of movies, but take a movie like "The Time Traveler's Wife"- does the fact that it nearly brought manly tears to my eyes go against some kind of manliness rule? how about you guys? Hey, I'm a 17 year old guy and have just recently been appointed vocalist in a new school rock band (mostly because no one else wants to sing). I have been told on quite a few occasions that I can sing well but thats not the point. I was wondering how to increase my range to sieze the high notes in songs. This is an extreme example, but how does Jared Leto from 30 Seconds to Mars sing the way he does. Is it just a God given talent or is there an important technique unbeknownst to me? Hey guys, I've just ordered all my parts for my first PC build! I know it will max 99% of games well, but how will it run Crysis 3? These are my parts (I won't mention irrelevant components like the DVD drive):

PSU: XFX Pro series 850W Bronze

CPU: Intel Core i5 3570k (oc to 4.2Ghz)

CPU fan: Cooler Master Hyper 212 Evo

Case: NZXT Phantom 410 Black/Orange

Ram: Corsair dual channel (2x4GB) XMS 3 @ 2000Mhz

GPU: ASUS Radeon 7950 Directcuii V2 TOP (900Mhz but will oc to 1000+)

Mobo: ASRock Z77 Exreme 4

I currently have an i5 3570k cpu which I will overclock to 4.2-4.3Ghz, and an ASRock Z77 Extreme 4 motherboard. I also have 2x4Gb Corsair XMS 3 2000Mhz ram (dual channel). I have to wait several months until I buy a dedicated graphics card, so I have to make do with the intel HD 4000 for a while. Will my cpu overclocking and fast ram speeds mean that these graphics will run faster than with standard 1600Mhz ram and the standard 3.4Ghz cpu clock? I want to be able to run a few games for a while. Cheers for your answers :)

I'm a relatively conservative, white male, and whenever I try to strike conversation with a girl from another ethnicity, I feel vulnerable and slightly threatened- like it's not what I'm supposed to be doing or something. I have absolutely nothing against people from other races. To me, Black women are the most beautiful in the world and I hold the utmost respect for them. I have many male friends from all different ethnicities but I always freak out around the girls? Is it just me, or is there some kind of unspoken rule? I'm 17 by the way and I appreciate any and all opinions.

This may seem like a strange question, but are there many black women (African, African American, Caribbean etc) besides the indigenous Aborigines in Australia? I'm an athletic white guy in New Zealand, and am planning on moving to Australia when I finish University (either Melbourne or Sydney) for the career options. I am really attracted to Black women but there aren't many in New Zealand. I was wondering if there are more in Australia?

Hi all, I'm planning on helping my Dad build a PC for everyday applications, and some gaming and photoshop. He wants a decent setup but doesn't care about all the 'ultra settings' (unlike me). He's on a budget so I plan to use the AMD A10-5800k. I was originally going to get an AMD Radeon 7770 as a decent mid range graphics card, but then discovered that the 7660D integrated graphics can crossfire with a 6670, which is like 50 bucks cheaper (where I live). Does anyone know how effective this is at mid range gaming, and if it can reach near the performance level of the 7770? Thanks :)

Hi, I'm a 17 year old male, and I have been working out for 6 months. I have been noticing that the outside of my chest is getting bigger, while the inside is not, and it looks like I'm getting man-boobs. I'm not fat (a little on the skinny side) at 5'10 and 150lbs. I do flat bench-press, flat dumbbell flys, incline dumbbell press, incline dumbbell flys, and dips. Should I be working more on incline? Thanks :)

Hi guys (and gamer girls). I know it's old and tired, but NVIDIA vs AMD Radeon? We are talking higher end cards here. From my knowledge, NVIDIA is great for single/dual monitor gaming, and AMD has better overclocking capability. Please state why you prefer your favourite brand. :)
