I've been friends with this girl Jessica for about two years now. It was fine for awhile, but recently, she's been getting on my nerves. She always tried to one-up me, to make it seem like her life is better than mine, or worse than mine. And she's being self centered a lot. She doesn't care about anything i(or anyone else) says, unless its about her. And anytime i try to tell her something cool thats happened, she interrupts me, and says tells me something that happened to her.

Im really sick of the way she's acting, and the way she's treating me. What should i do? Should i drop her? Or should i tell her whats been going on, and why im mad at her, and give her a second chance?

Okay, there has been A LOT of controversy about many different types of music.

THE BIGGEST ONE:

between Rock and Pop/Rock.

Why? They're pretty much the same. Pop/Rock was actually built off Rock.

Really, the only difference is that with Rock, you head-bang, and with Pop/Rock, you can dance around with the music.

So what?

Can someone please explain this to me. Because i'm obviously not catching on.

Now that obama is president(eugh..), i've noticed that he's creeping his way into the school systems. For this past year, we have been shown 2 or 3 things that have to do with obama. Now, every time we do, they even make an announcement about it. I usually try to ignore it by reading or doing my work, but i never can seem to concentrate with all the other kids in my class cheering. I'm probably 1 out 3 people in most my classes who hate him, so everytime we watch one of his stupid videos, I complain, and then i get yelled at for hating him.

If i remember correctly, when Bush was elected, he didn't creep his way into the school systems. Whats so special about osama(sorry, obama) that he gets into the school programs and such, bainwashing poor children into liking him.

Isn't it ironic that as soon as a black/ WHITE man is elected, he somehow manages that kind of crap? Now, it being on the news and such is one thing, but to put him in the curricular activities that go in school, is just ridiculous.

And i bet you, if McCain was voted president(which he should've been), people wouldn't be making that big of a deal about it.

Could you please explain to me why its such a big deal, without saying "because he's the first Black/WHITE president..."?

And before you go calling me racist, i just wanted you to know that i do not hate him because of the color of his skin. I hate him because of the ideas he has for America.

And the ONLY reason I capitalized the WHITE when i said black/WHITE is because everyone makes a big deal out the election just because he has black in him.

I have these two friends and one of them i've been friends with since 4th grade (im in 8th), and the other i met through her in 6th. Just so this doesn't get confusing, lets just call them by their names, Hang and Christina. I never really liked Christina, but Hang was friends with her, so I really only hung out with her because of Hang. In 7th grade, I became friends with a girl named Jessica. She's really cool and i hang out with her all the time. So i started hangin out with her and Hang. Christina got pissed off and started telling lies about me and Jessica saying that we called her and Hang bitches and whores and crap. Hand got pissed off and it ended up being this big fight. I started talking to Hang and Jessica and found out the real story. This just made me hate Christina more. Now, in 8th, Hang and I are still fighting with her and i called her a ***** for everything she's done, and she wanted to fight me! Then i said no, and she backed off. Now, she's pissed off at us again for who knows what, and she's telling people lies about us, and trying to get people against us. How do i get her to stop?

I mean, i don't really care what others think of me. I say "If you like me, that's great" or "If you don't like me, deal with it"

That's how i go, but could someone please explain to me how being popular automatically makes everyone like you and want to be your friend?

And why do so many people strive to become popular, and they'll basically hurt feelings and step on people ( and on this, i am NOT even kidding ) to get popular, or to be friends with someone "popular".

I'm not under any circumstance "popular" and i highly doubt i ever will be, but im still friends with some of the people who "claim popularity".

But, they don't seem different than all my other friends...

And the people who know they're "popular" use it to their advantage.. and i hate it.

Please, could someone explain these things to me? Because im obvioulsy not understanding....

And yes, i am in middle school. So its worse than usual..

I'm sorry, but i am absolutely tired of all this twilight crap. I mean, i love the books, but the movie is annoying. Im serious. Okay, Robert Pattinson is not that 'hot'!

Seriously people? Now what with New Moon coming out, its gonna start up all over again. My friends are so obsessed with it. Im literally afraid to go into my friends room because its covered with heavy Rob pattinson posters.

Who agrees? I mean, COME ON!

Okay, my friend told me about the rumor that Nick got Miley pregnant. I told her she was making it up, but she says "Its real! My mom has the page!"

I looked it up, but i don't believe it one effing bit. Do you?

If you dislike Miley(like me!), or the jonas brothers, then... oh, hell i dont care. just answer my question.

I'm a little confused on this.... I've looked for it on my tv and online, and i haven't gotten a straight answer from my looking around. Can someone help me???

My mom has this preschool class shes teaching and their making apple pies, and my mom asked me to write a poem to go along with it.

The poem is basically about what a mom does for thier child, and this is basically describing some of those things.

Heres the poem:

Mommy, you gave me a lovely home

and lighting striked

you held me tight.

Mommy, you always picked me back up when i fell

especially when i howled and yelled.

Mommy, when i was down

you never ever let me frown

Mommy, i know you'll always love me

So, even though im growing up

Now, i know it's kind of corny. It's supposed to be.

I had changed my hair color from dirty- blonde to like a brunette type color. Well, my so-called " best friend " didnt like it. So now shes threatening that she'll change her hair color from black to blonde ( now, keep in mind, she is asian. ) She knows how much i hate her wanting to go blonde, so she's using it against me. She says that she wont change her hair back until i change mine.

I think shes being stupid and utterly rude. It my hair and i can do what i want with it. I hate that shes trying to bribe me and im sick of it.

Please, tell me what you think. What should i say to her? ( nothing utterly mean though. )

How can i stop her and make her understand that this isnt going to work and that she should stop trying to change my mind?

Well, earlier today my friend and i were waiting for my mom, and i told her about this song. I told her it was about being abused, and how an angel came to help. I told her this because her mom abuses her and i hate to see it happening.

Then she asked me if i were an angel. I asked her why, and she said " because you keep me from crying when i feel sad. "

It made me want to cry.

I told her i wasnt an angel, but that i'd make sure her mom doesn't hurt her while im alive. And that if i died, i'd really come back as an angel.

It just broke me into little pieces thinking i did so much for her, when i know i did so little.

If your friend said this to you, how would you answer this?

I have this friend named... uh...lets just call her... missy. yeah, missy.

well, her mom is a freaking *****, and not fair. well today at school, we had this thing called faculty follies and i got a ticket and so did missy's other friends. Well, in 1st pd, she kept complaining that out of all her friends that had tickets and she didnt. and every time she said it, she'd look at me as if it was my fault. then, she got mad at me! i got my other friend to talk to missy, and he said he thought it was because i wouldnt give her my ticket. im all like, " what the heck? why should i give her my ticket? i paid 3 freakin dollars for it! "

now she wont talk to me, and she acts like its my fault.

what should i do?

I listen to 106.1 ALOT! well, this morning, i was listening to it, and theres this morning thing they do called Kidds Kidds. its a thing where kids who have disabilities or illnesses can go with their families to Disneyworld! well, they had a girl last year named Krista Brewer and she was battling cancer. well, a couple months ag, she lost that fight to cancer, and it took a real toll on the family because the doctors said that Krista was going to get better. She didnt, she got worse. Now, they really need help. i am asking, okay PLEADING, that you donate or put this family in your prayers. PLEASE!
